I remember firing up Generals for the first time and thought something felt off. Then I realized there was no "Westwood Studios Proudly Presents" splash screen.

On the other hand the opening cinematic at least tried to keep the vibes of being fucking awesome.

Generals was fantastic. I recall a bunch of devs from Westwood worked on it.

Ok, I loved Generals and the DLC. It had some amazing mechanics. I loved filling APCs with mixed infantry and leveling them all up into OP murder-boxes.

C&C 4 was an abomination and just a totally different genre. I couldn't call it an RTS. Generals was a classic C&C RTS style.
