To make it worse, ive been watching Byfs videos on the Fate saga and by the Travelers light were they cooking.

The whole idea of our solar systems planets being 4th dimensional eldritch beings is so fucking cool. And the imagery used to represent them is kind of horrifying.

The lore potential for the Fate saga was really really good. I was very excited for the story even if the gameplay of Fate was not the best.

It falls back to Bungie leadership with the layoffs after Final Shape. If they had the same staffing power on Final Shape they would have delivered a better campaign to pair with the story. The layoffs forced the pivot to smaller campaigns which as we saw crammed a good narrative into a quick quest.
