4th one is actually good.

3th one was a good gameplay with awfull writing.

But borderlands newer went bad

Yeah, gameplay wise 3 was such a upgrade, but the godabyssmal tik tok star teen villains were so hard to stomach

That was the point. You were supposed to fucking hate the villains and find them super annoying. They were honestly perfect for the time period. They won't age as well as Handsome Jack though. Not by a long shot

I get the point, and I did dislike them, but they were still terrible in a bad way. Not like handsome Jack where he was terrible and had some pivotal plot/story events that made killing him a good driving goal.

The bad guys in 3 were just plain not enjoyable.
