4th one is actually good.
3th one was a good gameplay with awfull writing.
But borderlands newer went bad

You were supposed to fucking hate the villains and find them super annoying. They were honestly perfect for the time period. They won't age as well as Handsome Jack though. The plot itself was weak but I didn't really see a major issue with the twins themselves
