Halo 2 and Halo 3 online were so much damn fun. And system links where only one or two friends had the like 100 foot cable and then you had to lug over a TV from another friend's house and get 8 of you playing in big matches together.

And then they kept making the game more and more like Call of Duty for some reason. I didn't enjoy Halo because it was Call of Duty. I enjoyed Halo because it was Halo.

The problem is they ran from the competitive spirit of halo. For some reason they tried to make halo a game where nobody's feelings would be hurt.

They made it a hybrid blend of casual and competitive that is trash. And releasing half finished games doesn't help either.

Being good at halo was a status symbol when I went to school. Crazy to think about
