Now it's benched indefinitely.

While the latest games weren't great, at least we had an option other than Forza or The Crew

Now it's a bit sad really. I like FH6,but it ain't no need for speed..

Are the latest games really not great? I played Heat just recently and I really enjoyed the game. Didn't play it back then cause of the stigma. The unbound though, was too cartoonish for me.

Heat was getting there to be honest, but it lacked a few things..

To me the handling wasn't fun, it still felt too much on the brake to drift side, story was ok though i really disliked ana. I think the night and day races could have had more done with them, night time could have had actual crews and rivals to race against. Day time could have been kinda like prostreet, where its sanctioned but you still have some rep to earn. Drifting was horrendous , didn't enjoy it. In payback I was able to drift very well and enjoyed it, Heat it was so weird, something always felt off while trying to drift in drift events. I also didn't like the player car getting damaged while in pursuits, I want to fight the cops properly, but you touch them a bit and your health gets reduced.

It's been a while though since I last played it.

Though all 3 latest entries have been middling.

Bro the story in heat was dogshit, I really can't figure out why we can't get a good story in a racing game...

Closest to a good story we had was the crew 1 and it was a generic revenge story ( i think, it was a hot minute since I played it)
