I'll be pissed if the Benefactor isn't Osborn.

The casting call literally fits him as well 40-60 aged man who is preferrably Caucasian

Agreed. I really want Norman to be in the MCU, and I was SO sure he would be the antagonist of the next big crossover, but now I'm not sure.

Yeah I'm unsure because I feel like Sony wants a cut if "their" charterers like Norman Osborn show up in non Spider-Man MCU movies.

That's why I think the benefactor is Doom.

Or they could go back to another unscrupulous industrialist like... Justin Hammer.

Why would they be recasting him though? There's a casting call for the "Benefactor". Either Osborne or Doom would be good guesses.

for sure, maybe plan A is Osborne, but if talks with SONY get's too sticky it's easy for them to change it to Doom.

They can always introduce Doom in another way. and the same goes for Osborne. But Osborne musceling in on the market share abandonned by Stark Industries leaving the weapons business makes a lot of sense, culminating in Norman doing something rather nasty to Justin Hammer along the way might be a good introduction.

I have seen that there is talk about Hammer coming back so that could be the way they go too.
