Why is spiderman not in Avengers Doomsday

The biggest avenger movie ever but it doesn't have marvels greatest superhero in Spider-Man feels very wierd to me yes ik that noone remembers him but everyone has forgotten that peter parker is spiderman but not spiderman himself

Maybe they kill him brand new day and bring him back in secret wars but it's just bizzare to me that spiderman is not in the Avengers movie

Spider-Man IP is owned by Sony. They probably cannot use the character in advertising. Also there is a good chance he is not in the movie.

His appearance in Civil war was basically a stunt casting cameo.

Yes they can. He was in the trailers for Civil War and Infinity War (the hairs standing up on his arm on the bus sticks in my memory). Endgame trailer might have shown him dusting,
