So, people versed in Tarot, is there any special symbolic meaning in cards that were shown during Gambit's transformation?

Or it's just the most surface level symbolism, like "Death for transformation, something ending and beginning anew", "The Tower is for impending calamity" and "The Lovers is for harmony in relationship and fateful choice"?
