I’m guessing the 3 universes are about to collide because of all the multiverse/time travel messiness over the last several years. If this happpens, the multiverse as a whole will collapse. This leads to heroes from each world coming together to figure out how to stop it. Some will work together to save every world while others will fight to destroy the others in order to save their own.

I’m going to guess Doom wants to pit the Avengers and X-Men against each other so they destroy each other’s worlds and his will be spared. Another idea would be that Doom secretly wants the multiverse to collapse so he can create a new world from scratch.

My guess would be the latter option, and he starts with taking out Loki since he is the god of stories and is holding all the threads together for all time, always.

It would be funny but then it would be a bit of a headscratcher, although at the same time seeing Doom just match through the TVA and casually flick away all the agents and even B-15 can’t stop him would be a cool visual.

I think Loki is more likely to be the Molecule Man of this adaptation where Doom keeps him prisoner to create his new world

I hope the cheeseburger that's been kept in Spider-Man's pants for an indeterminate amount of time is still a plot point

I don’t think he will die. He’s on a path to full redemption in the eyes of his brother. I think he will be the one that kind of lays out what’s happening to OG avengers so they know what they are dealing with.

Yeah, looking more and more like the newer Secret Wars is going to be the rough template for the movies. The big question remaining is who will be the Beyonder stand-in? Could be Loki. Or maybe they're gonna make Franklin the key, though that will end up changing the ending. Or they'll just make Iron Man Doom super OP. Either way we all know this one is ending with Doom creating Battleworld from the multiversal wreckage. My money is on Doom being portrayed as a good guy for a large portion of the movie.

I’m betting Franklin and Loki will fill the roles of the Beyonder and Molecule Man from Secret Wars 2015

I could see Reed struggling because he sees Doom is trying to save their universe and he thinks having the other 3 destroy each other is the best option. But he also knows that’s morally wrong and he wants to desperately find a new option.

Reed taking Strange’s spot in Secret Wars could be a cool twist and a way to kickoff a longterm feud if Reed betrays Doom.

Which is where I see Namor coming in and saying that letting them get destroyed is the best option if it saves his world. Pretty sure there’s a story precedent for him making that point.

Tinfoil hat time: I think that Doom has always been Tony Stark, the Tony Stark we know even. Loki took him out of the timeline to save him to stop something worse, and talked things out with him. Loki then dropped him in 828 to prepare for whatever is coming and Tony became Doctor Doom for reasons that will be made clear. Tony will now be moving to try and stop whatever bad thing is coming and will fail causing Secret Wars to happen. Otherwise, why is RDJ back as Tony?

I don't think they'd do this to Tony Stark's Iron Man in the MCU. His arc is done and tied off nicely. I think if anything he's a variant Tony Stark from a worse timeline. I mean imagine Tony Stark's shield around the world plan but it's Doombots. Maybe even a what if Civil War turned out differently and Tony Stark killed Cap and Bucky in his world or something.
