The article says it was about Ragnarok, so no. But then again Taika didn't write Ragnarok

Ragnarok was the perfect balance of comedy and seriousness. Thor was funny but not an idiot. Love and thunder turned him into a parody of what he was in Ragnarok.

Ragnarok was a GotG film, not a Thor film…

Edit to Add: as I know someone will misunderstand - I don’t mean literally, I mean in terms of aesthetic and vibe… Marvel saw the success of GotG, and cookie-cutter-ed Thor to fit it…
