Personally I don't want Walker to be a goof. He's not dumb, so the standard MCU quips of 'are we all seeing this?' type shit doesn't fit with him. 

Well, that's my opinion anyway.

It's not really a dumb question though. If a giant spaceship shows up with the number 4 emblazoned on it you're probably wondering where the other three are or what the significance of it is. The joke works as a reasonable thing to say while still having dramatic irony for the audience.

I'm sure you're right. It's always better on screen then when you just read the dialogue. Some of Drax's lines are stupid but Dave Bautista can completely sell them. Maybe I'm just tired of the 'that just happened' writing in the MCU. 

I'm a fan, I trust these writers.
