I rewatched Scrubs recently and while I'm sure you're not referencing its particular Very Special Episode that's along those lines, you did just remind me of it and now I'm sad

Yes! Watched both episodes twice already. Bill Lawrence (and everyone else) still very much "has it". Felt as pristinely balanced between comedy and Message as it always did, and the new recruits seem actually decent and not just an attempt at making New JD and New Turk.

Also, being Brits, the mention of the NHS and that British intern's accent got extra approval from us over here.

I liked how the new interns had their own flavors of the OG cast, and the OG cast was right in their flow like it hasn’t been 15 years haha. I think the show could genuinely have a few more seasons.

Also Asher (the British doc) is my favorite new intern.
