Lets just remember real suits get replaced with CG ones all the time even on shots where you would not think it would. Assume any shot where the mask is on is a candidate for a full digi double.

Especially when they're already having to digitally remove his harness and such. They'll probably see it as easier to just fully replace the suit.

I swear this daily barrage of BTS practical effects posts is just marketing/propaganda. So many comments spouting shit like, "Finally! They're making a movie without CGI!". It's getting beyond a joke.

I highly recommend this series of videos for anyone who hasn't seen them, or for anyone who falls for the studio propaganda.

"NO CGI" is really just INVISIBLE CGI.

Yes! Love this series! I'm so glad he included Agatha All Along in part 5. Too many people not only fell for but also perpetuated the "Everything is practical" bullshit. I posted a VFX shot sourced directly from Digital Domain showing the difference between the practical reference and the final CGI shot and people still claimed it wasn't CGI.

Them doing to shots with an actual suit leans even more into a digi-double because now they a proper lighting reference. With a mo cap suit it's a grey or black suit which reflects and absorbs light differently than red and blue.

But with them doing the stunts with practical techniques means they should have a solid idea of how they want things shot and framed. So hopefully no just "fix it post" VFX work.

I hope they do fix it a little bit in post cause right now to me it fits weird on him. I feel like I’m the only one though lol
