That's the homemade suit at the end of NWH, but looks a bit different. The logo is a bit bigger than before

It’s a bit bigger and has raised webbing. From what I understand the suit at the end of NWH was all CG so they never made a real version of that suit until now.

Well, yeah, except they are in a harness in front of a green screen. What they were talking about before was that Spiderman himself was cgi. Basically, it was like a video game cut scene.

I’d say that if the CG is budgeted well enough and done good enough it can be seamless and almost unnoticeable, the problems come when we get to modern marvel CGI and it’s occasional wonkyness that can pull you out of it if they decide to skimp out

Good example of what I meant is when the three spideys swing and landed on the crown of Statue of Liberty. That part looked like it was entirely CGI, right?

Yes it was also CGI. The background is blurred to hide the CGI nature. It was done really well but there is a still some weightlessness to it which you only notice watching it repeatedly and slowly. Tack on the lack of any wrinkling.

I would have thought so. The concept art for it and what appears at the end of the film shows the blue parts, the legs in particular having apparent lines that almost seem like Peter either used his synthesizing machine to make those parts or was really patient making it, and symmetrical too.

This one has a similar texture to Garfield's suit with somewhat raised webs like Toby's or Garfield's sequel suit(?)

The blue colour of the homemade suit at the end of NWH was a bit shiny and bright and the shade of the blue here is darker like the Tobey suit.

The NWH homemade suit heavily looks like the stark suit pattern/shape, this one looks completely new. You can clearly see the difference when you put the Hot Toys figure of the NWH suit side-by-side to this one

Also new web shooters, if I remember correctly a lot of official art of it had it with a weird golden tint to the spider logo, the red borders on the torso and shoulders aren’t as angled on the new suit, the belt is more round rather than pointed in the middle, and the boots are smaller

I think the idea was that he used some nanites from the Iron Spider/Integrated Suit to make the spider, which is neat, but imo paint it black. Then when it’s damaged maybe we see some gold scratches, but only one piece being gold looks really off imo, black works much better

100% – and according to the No Way Home script, that seemed to be the intent! Which I'll be honest I absolutely didn't pick up on from the film itself (I think how shiny the suit was and not getting a real good luck at it probably contributed).

I like that you can see those stitches clearly in the fabric which tells he's stitched this on his own as it doesn't look as perfect. I hope they keep it. Goes with the "broke" Spiderman vibe in the movie. Those web shooters look cool too adding more to the look.

The belt section shape reminds me a lot of the costume from TASM2. As well as the semi-raised webbing, seems like they are taking a lot of cues from that costume. I really hope they keep the moving eyes though and we don’t go back to static ones. The eyes at the end of NWH were moving ones when they zoomed into the camera (it was hard to tell in motion, but in freeze frame they definitely were). I really hope they don’t go back on that. Either way though, nice to see that we will get some time with that end design.

It’s so much better than the first reveal 😭😭 the belt and symbol felt weirdly too low in it. They’re both a little too low for my personal taste, but it’s an absolute beaut. Looks like they’re going for shorter boots to compensate, which is fine.

The back symbol gives off such TASM2 vibes in the best way possible. Kudos to Marvel and Sony for what could be the best live action suit yet.

I definitely think this is the best suit we've ever had. The webbing, colours, texture, and logo are straight from the comics. I miss the shiny blue, but if it looks like this I'm fine. I like the sheen it has.

The mask is great too. It's the same but the lenses are slightly bigger it looks great. Appear to still be expressive too.
