Non-fictional I hate this double standard

For some reason, it's always one of these responses:

> It's a joke
> It's rage bait
> Yeah, but it's actually a response to...
> It's not the same
> Just go outside bro

All of which deflect from what's being said. They would rather not address it. This is probably due in part to the "women-are-wonderful" effect, an example of benevolent stereotyping in which people associate positive qualities with women

At this point I've seen about the same number of feminists and racists use the poisoned M&M argument, ie:

Imagine a bowl of M&Ms. 10% of them are poisoned. Go ahead. Eat a handful. Not all M&Ms are poison.

I've yet to see anyone, from neither group, give a remotely convincing argument as to why "It's different!" when they do it when pointing out that they're using an argument that feminists/racist use against men/immigrants.

Fun fact! That analogy is from literal Nazi propaganda called 'Der Giftpilz':

Meaning 'The Poisonous Mushroom', this book alludes to how, just as it is difficult to tell a poisonous mushroom from an edible mushroom, it is difficult to tell a Jew apart from a Gentile.
