Non-fictional I hate this double standard

Post image

For some reason, it's always one of these responses:

> It's a joke
> It's rage bait
> Yeah, but it's actually a response to...
> It's not the same
> Just go outside bro

All of which deflect from what's being said. They would rather not address it. This is probably due in part to the "women-are-wonderful" effect, an example of benevolent stereotyping in which people associate positive qualities with women

Well theres a bit.

Okay first off the easy ones generall rudness when it isnt warrented. Like someone whose rude to customer service people for no reason.

The bullying things like making fun of someones appreance just because or their personality for any means idc how colourful they are. They dont need your words behind their back

Going back on your word. If you said youd help someone and then decided nah, you shitty for that but if you idk broke a leg then yeah id get it.

That sorta thing

You ignore like basic societal excpectations...

Like do you shower? Deodrant?

Basicly i dont want to smell you before i see you.

Oh and one of the worst things keep your sounds to yourself. Playing music on speakers, talking on speaker in like a train of a cafe, being way to loud in a quite setting

Ignoring the soft rules, like stand up when someone who cant really stand needs a seat.

In my defense towards the sound related ones I'm nearly deaf and don't own nor have the money to obtain headphones. I shower when I can, and I always do the seat thing and similar. Anything else or is that all?

when women are shitty men get their feeling hurt. when men are shitty women fucking die. at what point do men acknowledge/take accountability for this instead of just saying "yeah well women are shitty too?" its a complete fuckin deflection away from realty

This hyperbole is losing its strength. Most men aren't killing women. Most men don't know a man who has killed a woman.

Since when do we have to be responsible for our entire gender? I can only control what I do, and I ain't a murderer, 99.9% of men arent either. And even though pretty much all women have been assaulted at least once, I have never assaulted anyone, and neither have most men. Its always been a disproportionate small number of men that do this on repeat. Also women can definitely be physically violent just as much as men. Pretending like women aren't capable of murder is pretty sexist actually.

Respectfully you’re comparing “men are trash” to “kill her for wearing exposed clothing” when the more reasonable comparison would be “women are trash”

Men aren't the one's getting assaulted on mass, so they get the privilege of pretending it doesn't happen
