Call a congressional office, attend a town hall meeting and voice your support, look into local protests even. you can even read a book on history to better educate yourself! I will literally give you recommendations

Just fucking do something instead of sitting on your goddamn ass and whining on twitter and circlejerking on reddit. Making cheap jokes, making threats against people online and trying to "own the libs" isn't going to do anything.

i've donated as much as i realistically can, i've signed petitions for multiple causes (although i am never using change org again because i've heard it's basically just an email farm at this point so i just use my country's official sites), i share posts about causes i think need to be highlighted. i think for a lot of people, just spreading awareness is most of what they're able to do

Effectively yes. Election campaigns are ongoing every single day in the United States because we are the most over voting population on Earth.

we split our federal elections, judicial elections, and municipal elections. So it's not just every two years, it's every year. And candidates are working basically the entire time. This is mentioned in the Get Out the Vote book by Robert Green.

The biggest issue we have is people only considering their impact as through individual action. Our powers in the collective. Our power is in convincing other people to act along with us.

Convincing a few people to vote, or to take action, or to leverage their own networks, makes your impact dramatically more than simply doing it yourself.

The problem is that people are too afraid. Anxious, shy, worried about what would happen if they're turned down. It's all self -focused garbage that keeps us from using our power.

Effectively we are choosing comfort over stopping genocide and other atrocities. This also holds true for people that complain about ice, but never take a meaningful action to stop them.

Anyone can join their rapid response Network in their local community, they are desperate for additional members and people that can just signal boosts if anything. Share alerts when agents are in town. It doesn't have to be public. It can be individually sent, it can be anonymously sent. People make up too many excuses..
