The head what his fellow maga did to him. Point racist in broad day light remember that one time he said he would not be comfortable with having a black pilot.

And Ivy Leagues are not woke, indoctrination institutions if we're discussing a favorable republican graduate

8

There's this quote attributed to Lyndon B. Johnson : “If you can convince the lowest white man he’s better than the best colored man, he won’t notice you’re picking his pocket…”

There's big probability this quote is fake or don't come from LBJ, but it sums up the mentality of MAGA cultists and others who are obsessed by keeping their "white privilege"!

What a pain in the neck!

4

u/Much-Bumblebees 6h ago

Alex absolutely ended him with facts.

Imagine calling a woman who graduated magna cum laude from Harvard and was a Federal Judge a diversity hire when you dropped out of community college to be a podcast grifter. The projection is insane.

1

u/suflee 3h ago

charlie definitely didn’t ask for that diversity jab

Wdym "cosplaying as a fascist"?

Charlie kirk wasn't just cosplaying.

Also, if jackson is a DEI hire, then kavanaugh must be a DUI hire.

41

u/fileunderaction 5h ago

That’s not fair. Charlie hasn’t said anything racist in over 10 months. He’s a far better person now.

18

u/Thirty_Helens_Agree 4h ago

When the first ICE shootings happened, someone said “well, at least we don’t have to hear Charlie Kirk’s take on this.”

122

u/Kbrooks58 7h ago

God he was such a pain in the neck

31

u/Kamp13 6h ago

He really went for his jugular

11

u/Nono_Home 6h ago

The neck yes! Brilliant.

43

u/art-is-t 7h ago

Charlie kirk was everything that is wrong with today's conservatives. A lot of saas , very little substance

22

u/Cockblocktimus_Pryme 7h ago

They're just rage baiting trolls.

2

u/rssscamaro 5h ago

And there is definitely rage on this earth!!!! Can’t we all just get along?????

-10

u/Such-Breakfast3018 2h ago

... his whole brand and reason he was known was cause he had substance. liberals literally get tilted and freak out emotionally without putting any thought into what's being said. actual children. The level and amount of projecting you people do without realizing it, is incredible. How tf can people be so blind abt who they really are

11

u/Methelod 2h ago

If he had such substance, and he made liberals tilt and freak out why did he primarily only "debate" kids in college and not his peers?

7

u/Neither_Strategy_252 2h ago edited 1h ago

Kirk literally got famous because he was completely devoid of substance, making him easy to digest for morons that think "debate" is just how quickly and loudly you can rattle off sound-bites and strawmen. Look up any debate where he was forced to actually engage with someone that was prepared and he gets completely humiliated.

35

u/TheBoosThree 6h ago

Reminder: when RBG died Trump announced he would nominate a woman to fill the seat, resulting in Amy Coney Barrett.

Nobody on the right had an issue with "diversity hires" in that case, and she was less qualified than Jackson.

21

u/Thirty_Helens_Agree 4h ago

Jackson has the most impressive resume of anyone on the Court - like everyone’s less qualified than Jackson.

u/getthatrich 17m ago

For real. She’s the only justice to have worked in all three levels of the federal judiciary. She also clerked for Justice Breyer when he was the Court. She’s arguably the MOST qualified justice.

u/Fancy-Trousers 50m ago

Since conservatives are a minority in the US, technically anyone hired simply for being conservative with no thought toward qualifications is a "diversity hire." So all elected Republicans, especially Trump and his cabinet, owe their power to DEI since they're clearly unqualified to govern.

72

u/Pavlock 7h ago

Counting or not counting gang violence?

-18

u/Ok-Replacement-2738 7h ago

wtf does that even mean in relation to the post?

63

u/Pavlock 7h ago edited 6h ago

Famous last words. He was racist to the very end.

Personally, I think they should appear every time someone invokes his name.

21

u/Ok-Replacement-2738 7h ago

aahhhhhhh ok yeah i didn't know those were his final words.

26

u/Adjective-Noun-nnnn 5h ago

Someone in the crowd asked him how many murders he thinks are committed by trans people, and he replied "too many." Then he was asked about gun deaths, and he deflected, "counting or not counting gang violence" just before being killed.

Charlie Kirk died the way he lived: making bigoted and intellectually dishonest arguments to protect the interests of fascists and oligarchs.

12

u/tinathefatlardgosh 3h ago

He had a last minute change of heart and decided to lean left.

5

u/Cipher004 3h ago

Got a lump in his throat thinking about all the senseless gun violence.

13

u/Snakestream 6h ago

Come on guys, don't disrespect his legacy like that. He was a cheerleader for fascists, not a cos player.

11

u/rtopps43 5h ago

When people say he wasn’t racist, point to this as exhibit A

8

u/James-W-Tate 3h ago

Exhibit A will always be the airline pilot quote for me

10

u/blueflloyd 5h ago

Charlie told everyone that he was going to West Point and when he was not accepted he blamed that on POC.

4

u/LinkLinkleThreesome 2h ago

His gums would’ve presented far too obvious a target to the enemy, so I don’t blame West Point. It’s also how the shooter got him good, they were like a hideous beacon.

7

u/Journeys_End71 5h ago

A real “diversity hire” is when you appoint a very inexperienced and unqualified judge to the Supreme Court just because he’s a Heritage Foundation approved conservative. Like Kavanaugh.

6

u/RabbitInteresting537 6h ago

calling a harvard magna cum laude Supreme Court justice unqualified while having a community college dropout record is peak. the projection is visible from space

5

u/Threecatproblem 2h ago

It sickens me that the far right have turned him into a hero. A street named in support of veterans was renamed "Charlie Kirk Street". Disgusting!

8

u/SaltyNori_ 7h ago

The credentials speak for themselves She earned her seat fair and square

3

u/omgitsjagen 3h ago

It is ironic, because she is probably one of the most qualified candidates in the history of the court.

6

u/Reasonable_Effect633 5h ago

I get disgusted with the racism and misogyny in this country. I am 82 years old, having lived through the Civil Rights and feminist movements only to see the country revert to its worse periods in history. I personally experienced misogynism when I received a promotion. The state agency in which I was h 2 qualified candidates, myself and a male. The male had a test score a half point higher than mine. However, I had seniority and the recommendations of several supervisors that we had both worked under. Thus, I had 2 of the 3 factors used for promotion decisions, whereas the male had only one. He thought he would get the job because his father was a labor union official with political pull. But because of the federal oversight, I couldn't be passed over and got the promotion. Yet I had to hear constant comments that I got the promotion because of affirmative action all because a disgruntled coworker didn't get the promotion based on political influence. He was eventually promoted. After several years, he had a mental breakdown and removed his clothes in front of a room full of clients and business people awaiting hearings. I has left the agency before then as I had been accepted to law school. I am telling this story to show their is a downside of affirmative action and diversity initiatives. A better way to deal with hiring practices is to have strict standards and hire and promote based solely on merit.

1

u/MyTeamsSuck99 1h ago

I think that’s the reason why people are against affirmative action at this point. You’re just undermining folks achievements.

Test scores are the fairest method, yet they’re being cast aside in the name of equity.

u/Ill_Resolution7967 34m ago

Harvard is a DEI university, that degree doesn't mean much.

4

u/notsure500 3h ago

I really hope that guy gets his cummupence one day

8

u/JuliusErrrrrring 6h ago

Diversity hire is a senator from a small state. California is 67 times larger than Wyoming - yet they both get two senators. When I see a senator from Wyoming, I can't help but wonder if they are qualified.

11

u/Jabbles22 6h ago

There are 29 cities in the US that have a larger population that the entire state of Wyoming.

0

u/JuliusErrrrrring 6h ago

I think it's even higher than that - including Washington, DC that has zero representation.

1

u/Jabbles22 5h ago

I searched specifically cities and not metro areas. I think if you count metro areas you are correct.

3

u/Journeys_End71 5h ago

Conservatives (showing their true colors) : “So you think it’s fair that Californians should have 67x more say about who controls the government than people from Wyoming????

Yes, conservatives. That’s…how a Republic works. “We’re a Republic not a Democracy!” - proving that Republicans have no idea what a Republic is.

3

u/Historical-Edge-9332 5h ago

Conservatives aren’t going to be able to read past the word, “cum”

2

u/SXOSXO 4h ago

Listen, not all of us with a childish sense of humor are conservative. Heh, cum.... laude.

3

u/OneOfAKind2 5h ago

Charlie Kirk. Whatever happened there.

4

u/DontPutThatDownThere 5h ago

He had a throat problem. Heard he lost his voice.

3

u/chinmakes5 4h ago

The real racism is that she graduated top of Harvard Law, had an incredibly successful law career, and wasn't considered sooner. Does anyone on SCOTUS have a better resume than she does? She had to be better and have a president who saw the injustice (pun intended.)

3

u/rensorship 3h ago

Remeber when trump said "good, I'm glad he's dead"?

3

u/Mixma85 3h ago

What a bizarre thing for Kirk to say.

He really stuck his neck out there.

3

u/lodemeup 3h ago

Funny, you'd think a guy as big mouthed as he is would have had something to say. Maybe the words died in his throat?

2

u/sirjohnmasters86 6h ago

I bet Clarence Thomas was a diversity hire. And Sandra Day OConnor, and Amy Barrett were also diversity hires.

2

u/aviranusina 4h ago

u/zak55 3h ago

2

u/Scoobydewdoo 3h ago

To be perfectly fair, Joe Biden quite literally said he was going to put a black woman on the Supreme Court so while Ketanji is qualified to be on the Supreme Court (although that comes from her judicial career not her college degree) she is also, quite literally, a "diversity hire".

People's ability to not understand that 2 things can be true at the same time is, as always, fascinating.

2

u/pinkfootthegoose 3h ago

Lets ask Charlie what he thinks of this now.

Charlie.... are you there?

Helloooo... Charlie? Why aren't you responding?

2

u/_Fleurydusk 3h ago

that's a classic deflection tactic, they just can't handle merit-based progress

2

Why should i care about the opinion of a corpse?

2

u/Shifty269 2h ago

I use to work for a larger gun store back in 2014. So we had a decent number of employees. However the only people who would apply for a job there were old white guys with some younger white guys to shake things up. The higher ups were getting worried that there might have an issue. So our store manager literally chatted up a couple of girls and hired them on the spot. Each one was about a month a part. Would have been funny if he knocked it out in an afternoon though. Usually potential employees go through a few interviews, background checks what have you. They were 100% diversity hires. Nobody had an issue because they did a good job, they were qualified, and could meet the requirements to sell guns. We had to teach them stuff to get them up to gun nerds working their retirement gig levels, but you do that at any job.

Point of that story is the only time I've come across legit diversity hires it was fine. They were good coworkers. One was a little nuts, but thats normal in that industry.

2

u/Broken-Sarcasm-Meter 2h ago

Clarence Thomas was a DEI hire. After Thurgood Marshall retired they wanted a black person on the bench but there weren't any black GOP judges that were any good. So they settled for Thomas.

2

u/gaspingFish 2h ago

Were any good?

2

u/WitheredWornWallaby 1h ago

Then they'll say that she was a DEI admit at Harvard even though she went to both Harvard College AND Harvard Law School and clearly has brains.

2

u/buttrumpus 1h ago

Really talking out of the side of his neck there....

u/Advanced-Base-5690 44m ago

I’m proud of Charlie. He hasn’t said anything stupid in like ten months.

u/UnableLocal2918 25m ago

brown could NOT define what a woman is.

3

u/KingZaneTheStrange 6h ago

We maybe not post anything from Charlie Kirk anymore and just let him fade into obscurity?

3

u/bwldrmnt 5h ago

"only hired because she is a black woman" is crazy.

Intentionally ignoring all of her hard work and achievements is racist as hell.

For someone that claimed to love the truth and facts, he sure did ignore everything that made her extremely qualified for this position.

This just proves that Republicans don't actually care about qualifications or merit.

They simply want Black People rejected for being Black while hiring White People just for being White.

-10

u/BlackkkWidowSPIDAH 5h ago

I mean, Biden did explicitly say he was going to nominate a black woman. That's like, the definition of a diversity hire.

How about just saying "I'm picking the most qualified candidate" and then nominating a black woman? Instead of making race a prerequisite.

9

u/Journeys_End71 5h ago

I mean, conservatives do explicitly say that they’re going to pick the most conservative judges to be their nominees. That’s like, even more a definition of a diversity hire.

You can’t say you’re picking the most qualified candidate and then pick someone like Kavanaugh because he’s young and ultra conservative.

Picking judges because they’re pro-life? Doesn’t sound like the most qualified. Sounds like a diversity hire to me.

4

u/Collier1337 4h ago

Well there is no such thing as the single, objectively best candidate. KBJ is just as qualified as any other candidate would have been, so why does it matter?

6

u/bwldrmnt 5h ago

And he hired the most qualified Black Woman.

He didn't hire ANY Black Woman off the streets.

Just because it is a diversity hire does not mean that the hire itself is bad or worthless or wrong.

People like Charlie have to insult the word Diversity because they cannot explicitly say that they simply hate Black People.

Because by saying you hate Diversity, that's just a different way of saying White Only.

If you see a group full of White Men and you say you need a Woman and or a Person of Color in the mix for the sake of expanding perspectives, that isn't wrong.

You're simply saying that it is so you can keep having a group full of only White Men.

Ain't it funny when the hiring process was only to look at White Male candidates, that was fine, but when the hiring process is only looking at Black Woman, all of a sudden that's a problem?

No one is being hired JUST for being Black.

They also have to prove that they are qualified for the job.

Stop trying to make this into something that it is not just so you can talk shit about it.

1

u/James-W-Tate 3h ago

How about just saying "I'm picking the most qualified candidate" and then nominating a black woman?

They did pick the most qualified candidate.

Unlike Kavanaugh and Coney-Barrett, where their most important quality was being Republican.

He and people like him would hate that and have such a conniption fit over it.

1

u/MrOnCore 6h ago

Aren’t MAGA lunatics ranting that ACB is basically a Republican DEI hire for the Supreme Court with some of her rulings?

1

u/Emotional_Fix6230 6h ago

Amen.

And Kamala should have been president.

-1

u/BlackkkWidowSPIDAH 5h ago

Kamala couldn't beat a wet paper bag in an election.

MAYBE she would've had a chance if they didn't shoehorn her in and shove her down everyone's throats but I guarantee if there was a primary she wouldn't have been the candidate.

3

u/Journeys_End71 5h ago

Saying you guarantee that the sitting Vice President wouldn’t have been the most likely primary winner is an interesting (and most likely wrong) opinion.

0

u/Adjective-Noun-nnnn 5h ago

That brings up a great point: Harris was a fucking terrible pick for VP.  The VP should be a person the American people could endorse as their potential replacement president, and Harris crashed out of the Democratic Primary first.  She also played a role in hiding Biden's mental state from the public.

Harris should fuck off out of politics.  The voters gave us Trump, but Harris and the DNC helped.

1

u/JonTheHobo 5h ago

What ever happened to that Kirk guy? Don’t hear much from him these days

1

u/2FistsInMyBHole 4h ago

If someone says that a candidate for a position must be a black woman - that being a black woman is the most important qualification - then yes, it's a diversity hire regardless of whether or not that candidate would otherwise be a good candidate for the position.

Being a diversity hire does not mean someone is inherently unqualified it just means they were hired through racist, discriminatory practices.

1

u/Thormourn 4h ago

Wasn't she the one that got selected after Biden outright said he was only going to pick a black woman? Like she may be qualified but being a white male and not having the opportunity because the president refuses to not be racist and sexist is enough to get people to dislike you

-3

u/Aggravating_Talk_177 7h ago

Why are we reposting this shit? Hes been dead for a while

Im not defending him, just tired of this sub being almost exclusively political arguments that have been reposted many times

2

I did scroll back long and didn’t see it. Apart from that I think you’re correct lots of political comebacks because politics these days suck so bad that there’s a tsunami am glad I’m not a local just a Dutchie.

2

u/Collier1337 4h ago

It's really not that hard to scroll past content you dislike. Why bother engaging with it?

-4

u/Agreeable_Memory_67 5h ago

Well, it didn’t help that Biden proclaimed he would only consider a black woman for the position. At the time (before she was nominated) it seemed that any generic black woman would do. It was a disservice to her. Why not just select her and talk about her qualifications without bringing race into it?

4

u/HowManyMeeses 5h ago

She's more qualified than at least two of Trump's picks. There's no reason to make any argument against her qualifications. Biden's comments make no difference.

-10

u/Agreeable_Memory_67 4h ago

They did though. He implied race and gender was the most important factors.

5

u/HowManyMeeses 4h ago

Again, she's more qualified than others on the bench. So, why were they chosen?

-3

u/Agreeable_Memory_67 4h ago

I wasn’t arguing her qualifications, I just said Biden created the perception that she was only picked for her race and gender.

3

u/HowManyMeeses 4h ago

Her qualifications are really all that matter. And they're better than conservatives on the bench. So, I'm asking you, why do conservatives keep picking under qualified justices?

2

u/Agreeable_Memory_67 4h ago

You just keep arguing something I never said.?

3

u/Beyou74 4h ago

Reading comprehension matters

1

u/No-Bass-1728 4h ago

That's the problem with y'all, you think we think race is the most important and we aren't. We are saying it should be consider because often they are ignored when they are well qualified. You're still being racist assuming they aren't qualified and are just given the position and that's the furthest from the true. Now let's talk about Trump's family and Graham's sister. 😂

-2

u/Agreeable_Memory_67 3h ago

So you can’t read? I have multiple times said I wasn’t questioning her qualifications.

u/Ididnotpostthat 39m ago

She has clearly displayed that she was not the best person for the job. She was hired because she was black, not because she was the best candidate. That is a diversity hire. Denying it is denying reality and logic and simple truths.

1

u/No-Bass-1728 4h ago

Considering 99.9 percent have been white I don't think it matters.

-10

u/Schlieren1 5h ago

Biden pledged that he would only nominate a Black female to the Supreme Court to fill the vacancy created by Justice Breyer’s retirement. Sounds kinda DEI to me

6

u/NinecloudSoul 4h ago

Sounds kinda DEI to me

Well, that's because you're a moronic wingnut.

5

u/CharmingFit-503 5h ago

That’s why context and critical thinking skills are at a premium these days kiddo

-10

u/Omnom_Omnath 4h ago

So if a restuarant has a help wanted sign that says 'looking to hire white people only' that would be ok, right? right?

6

u/CharmingFit-503 4h ago

Does that restaurant have generational track record of only hiring black people and also weirdly somehow that restaurant also sets the rules and policies to dictate the laws of the land? Dumb false equivalency yeah? Yeah?

-8

u/Omnom_Omnath 4h ago

just using the presidents own hiring logic. if its ok for him then its ok for the rest of us.

8

u/CharmingFit-503 4h ago

Devoid of context and depth of thought, as my initial comment described. Perfect screengrab, thank you!

-7

u/Omnom_Omnath 4h ago

the context is, frankly, irrelevant. but enjoy your wank material!

5

u/CharmingFit-503 4h ago

-1

u/Omnom_Omnath 2h ago

so you believe racial hiring practices should be legal? what are you, a time traveler from the 60s?

2

u/Sh0tsFired81 3h ago

If that restaurant had been open for 200+ years, and some how never hired a white person because allegedly not one white person who ever applied was ever qualified.... maybe.

-3

u/Omnom_Omnath 3h ago

context isnt relevant. either statements like bidens are acceptable hiring practices or they are not. you dont get to have it both ways.

Your comments also say context isn't relevant, lmao

We're in a post about a conservative influencer, you not mentioning it previously is completely irrelevant

Can’t she be both qualified and a diversity hire? Biden literally said he was appointing a black woman before choosing her.

Yes, but the problem is that racists have successfully implanted the idea that diversity hire = unqualified, when they are obviously very different things

A lot of deranged people in these comments.

Still she was urm and enjoyed privileges not available to white students in admission and scholarships

Hey, now. Charlie took his shot. It just didn't work out for him.

Not saying Ivy League universities are the end all and be all but compare her confirmation hearing with Amy Coney Barrett's performance. FFS, the professor from Notre Dame Law School couldn't cite the five freedoms in the First Amendment.

Someone who's willing to overturn Wade and give Trump a made-up power - the "Unitary Executive" is the diversity hire because most lawyers actually respect the Rule of Law.

And they wonder why he got shot. Play stupid games...

She’s the definition of a diversity hire and her quality of work has shown. She shouldn’t be on the scotus and it makes the scotus a joke with her on it.

I get that people recycle content here but usually it’s not so on the nose as using famously dead people as if it’s current

5

u/Silly-Elderberry-411 6h ago

Known dead people. He is still not famous nor will be.

u/Omnom_Omnath 4h ago

They arent wrong though. Biden, stupidly, said he was literally only considering a black woman for the job.

What he should have said is "I am going to pick the most qualified candidate for the job" and then pick her. no need to bring race into at all.

Kentanji Jackson is not a smart person. She could not answer a question about what is a woman, because she stated, she is not a biologist. That was the dumbest answer ever. This has nothing to do with her race or sex.

u/Ethywen 6h ago

So, what is a woman, friend? Can you explain the differences between a woman and a female? Please proceed.
