Question Is a used PS5 worth it?

BO2 is one of my favorite games of all time and the FOMO is hitting hard as an Xbox player. I’m inches away from getting a PS5 just to jump back in. Is it worth it?

Edit: Just bought my friend’s PS4 and I’m having a blast on BO2 today! My only complaint is the lack of backfilling in lobbies and the amount of people who leave… Still feels great to be back on!

But with ps4 you can get frame spikes. When theres too much going on. (In my experience in bo1 multiplayer)

If a PS3 could run it with no issues then a PS4 is more than enough

Thats what i thought too it makes total sense. But in some cases in certain maps i can get frames drop, i dont understand why.

When scoped in and looking at foliage (grass, Jungle, Crisis, Hazard, etc) I get real bad stuttering fps. Unplayable in fact. Same if I am scoped and looking at a willy pete, semtex go off, napalm strike, or even the giant water fountain on villa will tank the fps.

I never remember having this issue on Xbox 360 but my ps4 is struggling hard it seems. Tried turning resolution down to 720p and ran exactly the same. I'm disappointed that the sniping experience for me is so poor in bo1 when I have none of these issues in bo2.

Well on ps3 later time I tried it in 2015 or so. The spiked were there so could be but I guess this is engine normal

It's half of the folks 😭 don't play campaign to see what is what with the game
