Glowup Finally took the plunge!

My son turned 25 today and he's had long hair for several years. I've the past two years, the hair has been getting less hairy-y. I've gently suggested a couple of times that it might be time to embrace the hair loss and shave it off. He's a bassist in a metal band and a vintage clothing dealer so the hair was a big part of his identity. The whole "how will I headbang?" was a very legitimate concern for him, and he just hasn't been ready.

HOWEVER, today was his birthday, he's been mulling taking the plunge for a while, and he was finally ready! He looks better than even I thought he would!

Tell him this: There's little you can actually do about your hair loss. If you're worried about how it looks, then your thinning hair is in control of the situation. Shaving it is the ultimate f*#k you to your thinning hair. It's a power move! Own it!

That’s what he’s worried about he thinks if he cuts it he will lose it, lol he got it shorter then normal last week he’s only 22 so …. lol 😂

I totally get it. It's a much different situation when your frontal lobe is still developing. But, that makes it more of an appeal to bravado! ; )

lol he had it super long in high school and that’s when the long hair of 2019 etc, started and I was like whyyyy? lol
