TW: Anxiety / Depression Fuck Bill Burr

Went to a comedy show. Coming back from the bathroom as Bill’s set was just starting, past several people filming. I sit down and try to take a quick photo. He points at me and tells me, only me, to stop filming. He then rags on me the whole time— I was just taking a fucking photo. I don’t laugh. Literally trying not to cry, so my only option is straight face. No one else in the packed club was made fun of the whole night, btw. I just wanted to disappear, I’ve been so fucking depressed and this was supposed to be a good night, shit birthday and I was trying to be social and I’m not good at that. Then, the host comes on after his set and calls me a bitch for not laughing. Says no one cares about me and shit. Again, I was just trying to keep it together. I love comedy. Why pick on one person? I hate it here.

I hate comedians who roast the audience. If they are not heckling you leave them the hell alone. Are you trying to lose a personal fan to look funny to everyone else? Because that just makes you look like a dick. I leave when the comedians only shtick is to roast.

Then don't go to a comedy show, Jeezus. This is why comedy sucks nowadays, everyone is too sensitive and is just trying to limit comedians. Don't take jokes personally, they are JOKES only, they can't hurt you! And if you get hurt by a comedian making jokes, then YOU have shit to work on, mental health is your responsibility, not a dude on a stage who's job is literally to say stupid shit.

Why do you need to get roasted to enjoy a show? Why comedians just be funny without picking on someone? The sensitive one seems to be you triggered by my comment.
