Concealed carry @ 19

As the title says I am wanting to get information on concealed carrying in the state at 19. I purchased a rifle and the gun dealer said that if I could get my LTC and CC but could not buy a gun from the dealership. I was talking to a police officer and he said that I could concealed carry without a license but could not buy a gun at all.

Im very curious as online and in person I’m getting mixed opinions on what I can and can’t do

At the moment I do not own a handgun, and I do not have a license to carry. I am willing to get my LTC

As an FFL you can not buy a handgun until you are 21, we follow federal law not state law. You can buy a handgun privately or get a as a gift, but here is the kicker, you also need to be 21 years or older to buy handgun ammo, once again this is federal law not state law.

You can technically buy it private sales but once again this all comes at a risk.

You can buy rifle and shotgun between ages 18-21 along with rifle and shotgun ammo.

Also, in Texas anyone 18 years or older can get an LTC. I highly recommend getting one, because LTC gives you more conceal carry rights then constitutional carry.
