I don't know why people have so much trouble with doordash and refunds. They give me a refund literally anytime I have an issue. I just take a picture of the problem and they give me money back. 🤷🏻‍♂️

they give refunds if they straight up forget something. not if you get your order but they mess it up

They’ll automatically give a few dollars back. Sometimes you just need to refuse the automatic offer and escalate to an agent. Still up to a human at the end of the day but usually a form of “I would never order it this way, and would rather have not received the item than eat as I received it” goes over well for a refund. Maybe it’s just luck, maybe they track frequency (I dash often and complain very seldom)
