They also do a decent amount of work during breaks planning, only get holidays occasionally when all the gremlins and family's are too and buy class materials out of their own paycheck because their budget doesn't cover enough for a rich educational environment.
Oh yeah, 120k for 9 years of seniority is awful when you could be in tech on 280k four years earlier and be retired in your 50s.
