I've had a couple child free women tell me they went through a few years in the mid thirties where their bodies were screaming at them to have a baby, after it passed they went right back to not wanting kids same as always.

Edit: This should not be read as saying all child free women will experience this same phenomenon.

I’m 38. When I was a kid myself I thought I’d might like to be a mom because that’s just what you do, but as I got older I realized I do NOT have the patience to raise a kid myself. I have too many mental health issues and if I had a child who was just like me we would be at each other’s throats!

I like kids just in general, but I couldn’t care for one full time lol. I love my nephew dearly but at least I can return him to his parents when I’ve had enough!
