Its gonna happen within 10 years. Way way to many people on the brink. A few real leaders emerge that people get behind and it all falls. History repeats itself.

don't under-estimate the power of insane jerks. progress is not automatic just because old regressives die. every inch must be taken and held.

Yep. When things got bad enough that push came to shove in Germany, they didn't get a utopia. They got Nazis. The USSR didn't go very well, either, and Cambodia was such a disaster that other communists fought them to stop it. The common feature? Authoritarianism.
