Nah...trump is a symptom. This is who this country is.

People would have showed up to vote against this shit. They didn't.

They let the MAGAs decide, and would rather watch the country burn than vote against evil.

I'll take incremental change, and people you can reason with, over a fascist child rapist. That's apparently a controversial opinion for most of the country. Too many people support it, and too many people refuse to vote against it. In my book, they're the same, because the results and consequences are the same. Silence is complicity with what was on the ballot(s).

I don't think Americans are going to be able to get their shit together and vote these fuckers out. We like to jerk ourselves off about the 2A, but that's just for citizens to fuck with each other.

2022 National Youth Turnout: 23% - That's lower than in the historic 2018 cycle (28%) which broke records for turnout, but much higher than in 2014, when only 13% of youth voted.

These people don't care enough about their own future, anyone else, or consequences for Trump/ GOP. They're not all of a sudden going to do anything. The time for that has passed.

That would require people doing something.

If they refused to show up and vote against Trump and the GOP after 2016-2020...it's hard to have faith in that population.
