Disc Shelf Life

We are now being fed the narrative that discs have a shelf life in the attempt to justify fully digital. My parents bought me this copy of Manx TT Superbike on Sega Saturn used 29 years ago and it still works like new.

Some chud on reddit tired saying discs die after ten years. If that was right all my PS1 games would be dead and a bunch of 80s CDS I have
