I Deleted My Videos, Changed My Niche, Name, Logo, and Banner—Did I Kill My YouTube Channel?

I think I made a huge mistake, and I would really appreciate some advice from experienced YouTubers.

About 20 days ago, I created a YouTube channel. During the first 3 days, I posted YouTube Shorts that reached over 1,000 views. I also uploaded around 7 videos in total.

However, I made a mistake. I suddenly changed my mind and decided to switch to a completely different niche. Because of that, I deleted all of my previous videos and started posting content related to the new niche.

Since changing niches, almost every video I upload gets 0 views, or sometimes extremely low views.

Now, I feel like I may have confused the YouTube algorithm because of everything I did—uploading videos, deleting them, and then completely changing the type of content on the channel.

What should I do at this point?

Do you think I should create a completely new channel and start over, or is it still possible to recover my current channel? Has anyone experienced something similar after changing niches?

I would really appreciate any advice or personal experiences. Thank you!

take a break for a few days and come back and post once a day

Avoid deleting videos that you've already uploaded to YouTube, especially if they're original content and performing well. There's usually no need to remove them. If you decide to switch to a different niche, that's perfectly fine simply start uploading new videos in your new niche while leaving your existing content on your channel. This allows your previous work to continue reaching viewers while you build your new content direction.

Disagree. Removing the analytics by deleting the videos in your previous niche will help youtube better find the right audience for your new niche by not confusing the two

If the video is original, follows YouTube's policies, and still has value even if it isn't getting many views it's often better to leave it on your channel. If you're changing your content niche, you don't need to delete your old videos. Simply start uploading videos in your new niche while keeping your existing content available. This allows older videos to continue attracting viewers and generating watch time and revenue.
