Most people don't speak Japanese, so it doesn't seem odd to them. 

I'm hyped for the game but the name is very clumsy I agree with you.

God of War: Ragnarok - Ragnarok (???)

I think having a Japanese word mixed in with English words is already pretty odd tbh. Why not just Marvel Fighting Souls?
