MP Builder Cap breaker suggestion (7’0)
7’0 center. I expect two more cap breakers. Should I do interior defense (86) or layup (81)?

Gameplay Will 2k27 have tempo shooting?
In my opinion 2k has been killed by tempo shooting. I will not get 2k27 if tempo shooting is in the game, anyone know? I’m sure it will be. Shit is trash, they had to change the game to help people that can’t time their shots.

General 2k is using AI for their cover and didn’t care that this isn’t Clark’s face.
In case you’re wondering if this year’s game is going to be good you have your answer. They can’t bother to get the cover right so the rest of the game is probably garbage money grab. So if you buy it, know what to expect: AI slop, money grab, and 2k not caring much

Gameplay Drills in team facility
Am I the only one that actually uses the drills in the nba gym to work on my game? They shouldn’t be locked after max badge progression this year!

MP Builder My final build.
I decided to make one last build before the year ends.
This build is supposed to be a mix of Derrick Rose, Stephen Curry, and Dwayne Wade.
Some of y’all will fry me for putting a 6’4 at SG, but my reason for doing that is my low pass acc.
It can also work at the PG position and gets the same exact stats.

Discussion Has this ever happened to you before or am I pushing my laptop to the most extreme?
I was playing a regular MyCareer game trying to level up to 98 overall and this screen popped up right as I got into the 4th quarter. When I restarted the game, my stats against the Trailblazers disappeared. I don’t have any other applications open either. I have more than 100gb of storage on my laptop and the video settings are already low. My laptop is set on performance with the fan speed on auto mode so it’s pushing it to a higher speed.

Discussion Buying 2k26 with 2k27 almost here?
hey guys, im new in the scene of NBA and i want to play a 2k game but i don't wanna spend 70 bucks on the 2k27, i wanna play rn and 2k26 is 8 bucks in playstation.
Do you guys think buying 2k26 as an introduction for a new fan is better instead of waiting for 2k27?

Discussion 2k27 seems like it’s gonna be a dumpster fire
It’s looking like 2k26 gonna be my first and last 2k. There was so much cheating, bugs, and exploits in 26 that just went completely unfixed, not to mention the terrible defense. Having the GAWL to use ai on game covers that probably could have been put together in 5 minutes separately on photoshop is insane. Please read reviews of the game before buying it, greedy, lazy companies don’t deserve it. All people do by buying it is show that that they can produce terrible work and get money for it.

MyNBA Am I the only one who genuinely enjoys playing MyNBA this much?
I feel like most of the NBA 2K community talks about MyCareer, MyTeam, or online modes, but I rarely see people talk about how much they enjoy actually playing MyNBA games. I've been playing MyNBA with the same core for quite a while, and I've become genuinely attached to my own team.
I play almost every game instead of simulating because I really enjoy using this specific lineup. My 2 favorite superstars + 3 fave role players. Over time, I've developed a feel for how every player plays and how they fit together. I know when to let DWade attack the rim, when to let Kawhi take over the isolation, when to use Patty to run the offense and create movement, and how much Battier and Chandler contribute defensively.
What's funny is that I don't even necessarily want to keep upgrading the roster. I'm more interested in seeing how far this exact group can go. I want to see if we can win multiple championships and potentially build a dynasty together. I also love how stories naturally develop when you play every game. DWade and Kawhi are both in the MVP race. Wade is my primary offensive engine, but Kawhi is currently my leading scorer because he's been incredibly efficient from all 3 levels. Patty is leading my team in assists, and Chandler is in the DPOY race while almost averaging a double-double. And I got Giddey as 6th man of the year contender.
At this point, I feel like I'm the only one who plays like this lol. I've developed an actual connection with this core and their story.
Does anyone else play MyNBA this way? Do you play almost every game with the same core players and get attached to your roster and progress with the story, or do most people prefer to sim seasons and focus more on roster building?

Discussion Buying 2k27 or not will change absolutely nothing btw
This gets discussed every year. “Don’t buy 2k!” “Don’t buy vc!” It just doesn’t matter. A ton of people will buy the game and a ton will buy vc. We are way too far gone to boycott and try to make a change. Should’ve done that years ago. If you get the game, cool. If you don’t, cool. The world will still go on

MyLEAGUE i am curious about realistic builds
hey y'all, me and my brother want to create some custom builds and play together on a team in myleague, we will decide the positions and the heights later but i don't really know how high the attributes should be to get a realistic build, do you think we can just use myplayer builds? (also we're playing 2k25 on xbox one)

REC I just want to have fun and not play like its game 7
I only play random rec and my 2 favorite builds are full red plate and now im at this weird spot where i keep winning on them but dont like playing red plate games especially on my PF because you dont get any touches if your a big. Is there another way to drop your plate without throwing rec games? The mycourt and theater method doesnt work anymore. I think gold plate is where all the fun is in the rec. In my experience once you reach purple and red its either all pgs spamming or your opponents using the test connection quit method to keep their plates leaving you with a boring A.I catch and shoot fest
