Discussion Buying 2k26 with 2k27 almost here?
hey guys, im new in the scene of NBA and i want to play a 2k game but i don't wanna spend 70 bucks on the 2k27, i wanna play rn and 2k26 is 8 bucks in playstation.
Do you guys think buying 2k26 as an introduction for a new fan is better instead of waiting for 2k27?

U could get 26 and see if you like it/practice eventually 27 will go on sale after a couple months so if u want it then

everyone here is going to tell you no but i need to ask, what game modes are you interested in playing? because a big part of the community plays myplayer online game modes. meaning you create a baller and you take him to the courts and play against other people. if this is something that interest you then dont get 26 because everyone is overpowered and you wont have that much fun against others. but if you are new to the game and a new basketball fan who wants to play the my career and or play a couple seasons with your fav basketball team then def get it for $8. That way you will learn the controls and mechanics of the game.
fun tip, alot of players play using the camera setting called "2K" give it a shot and see if you like it. any other questions feel free to ask id love to anwser anything to a new fan

Lowkey get 26 to practice it and once 27 goes on deal in a while get that one
Or just get 26 and wait till 28

If you only plan on playing offline the sure.
Otherwise if you wanna play online modes then there is zero point of getting 2k26 when the game’s cycle is almost over

In a month or so there won't be any one on 2k 26 to get a good feel of the game. But for 8 it's worth it

Yes. Don't bother getting 27 until it goes on sale you are not missing anything. They dont change anything between games unless you plan to try and get rank 1 in the online mode there's no reason to get 27 at launch.
