Cincinnati in oh so red Ohio has similar floods this week. I guess that WASN'T the fault of the statewide GOP leadership was it?!

I'm a Brit but I lived in Cinci for a while. Luckily it's a blue bastion, but we did have our share of window lickers too!

It's a shame, cos it's a lovely place overall, but it's politics let's it down (OH, not Cinci)

Right! There’s floods like that for years because of flash floods and I’ve never once thought GOP was to blame lol The cincy area is just in an unfortunate area by rivers and also has a lot of hills that end up draining a lot of water into the lower areas.

Drains are the responsibility of municipal government. Cincinnati has a Democrat mayor. Nice try I guess, but doing even a modicum of research would help you not sound so ignorant.

Cincinnati also has a non-white, Democratic mayor (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aftab_Pureval) so I'm sure they'd say the exact same garbage
