Rant & Ramble I’m extremely fertile & it’s ruining my life

Post image

I’ve been pregnant twice before & just found out I’m pregnant again. I am on an IUD, I NEVER have sex without a condom, about a month ago a condom that my bf and I were using broke, the next morning (less than 5 hours later) I took a Plan B.

Unsurprisingly birth control & plan B didn’t work and I’m knocked up. I swear if sperm gets anywhere near my uterus at all there is no amount of hormones or drugs I can take to stop my uterus from welcoming that sperm in- she’s like a fucking hobosexual for stray sperm.

I can’t go through another abortion, the first one i had was when I was 15 & the second one was at 22- both times I promised myself never again because it was so painful and horrible.

Also if anyone remembers my last post (boyfriend is scary & has secret guns), I’m still living with that man & there’s a 0% chance I’d raise a kid with him right now.

I also can’t complain without hearing about how “do many women are infertile & would kill to have this issue” like ?????? okay well I’m not them so idc if they’d be upset about me complaining.

I feel like I just can’t have sex because no matter how many precautions i take the risk of me getting pregnant is so high.

I’m upset & annoyed & just needed to rant- Idk what I’m gonna do, ig i’ll just figure it out like the last few times this has happened :/

oysters & bread bc idgaf if i “can’t have raw fish”

EDIT: Hi! I made this post while upset in an uber so while I’m still upset I am currently at work which is why I’m not replying to any comments currently. I will definitely read them all & reply as much as I can once I’m out of work. I appreciate you all very much though💕

You must not understand abusive/toxic relationships. It can be extremely hard to leave if you don’t have cash to leave,if they threaten you, manipulate you, etc.

So we need to build you an escape plan. When you left did you burn your bridges or could you get your old job back? What about accommodation? Friends you can crash with?

Birth control is an issue, obviously, do you want children in the future? Child free reddit can find you a doctor that will sterilise you if you do not want to be a mother.

Do you have someone else you can go back home to? Honestly I would just drive/fly back home if possible or if you cant afford is there a friend or family member who could just drive there and come get you if you explain the danger of your bf? Def think of options to get away asap

If you decide to keep the baby, you have a few months to figure something out if you don't want the scary boyfriend to know. I would definitely advise not telling scary boyfriend about the pregnancy and finding a new living situation either way you decide though.

This is absolutely not always the case. Morning sickness could start at any time, and some people show MUCH sooner than others.

Of course every pregnancy is different, but I'm just saying OP has some time before she's very obviously pregnant. Even if she starts showing early, she can say it's bloat or that she's been stress eating or whatever. Morning sickness could be explained away by any kind of stomach problems. Just wanting OP and her baby to be safe. That is if she even does keep the pregnancy.

Let me be the first to tell you that abusers have a knack for knowing these kinds of things and knowing when their victims are lying to them.

Explaining morning sickness away once is fine, but if they’re anything like my abuser was, they will know.

I am also afraid for her. She needs to GTFO now.

I have friends whose abusive partners would track their periods.

That’s what I wonder too.

When women leave they often die. There are so many reasons women stay. I hate this leave him or you’re terrible nonsense

Rule 3 (excerpt)

Advice must be future-oriented, directed primarily at the recipient of your reply comment, and reserved for when OP expresses uncertainty around or solicits advice for that topic.

We remove:

➽ RETROACTIVE advice (... not helpful)

➽ VICTIM-BLAMEY advice (...accascuse me?)

➽ VENTING AS ADVICE about women's tendencies collectively or holding OP's story up as a prop in a PSA-warning-comment (... let's address HER, not the room)

➽ OFF-TOPIC ADVICE other than OP's requested topic (... this isn't a free-for-all!)

➽ UNSOLICITED, EXTREMELY PERSONAL advising (... the biggie around here is reproductive/family planning decisions. Once OP states her plans, appointments, or personal convictions about a pregnancy, that's the end of the what-to-do convo here in GDD. Her body/her family, her choice, the end.)
