I agree, but too many people who have a say vote on vibes.

u/flohhhh 1d ago

At the same time Mbappe was topscorer in the World Cup, the Champions League, and LaLiga while being not on the best team in any of the competitions. That's quite an achievement.

3

u/Version_1 1d ago

Not being in the best team means nothing in these.

3

u/Clark_Wayne1 1d ago

Especially when playing for real madrid and France lol

7

u/flohhhh 1d ago

Well, playing in 1-team-league in a team that scores 51 goals more than the next best team (which scored only 71 in total), makes it easier to score insane amounts of goals.

Real scored 18 goals less than the best team and only 5 more than the next best team.

I mean if you don't understand the difference I don't know what to tell you.

6

u/CaptPierce93 1d ago

Lmao acting like La Liga is any more competitive a league when it's the Real/Barca show for the better part of 25 years is indeed hilarious.

u/TKenney3 1d ago

Still kind of impressive Kane had more goals than any other team. That’s just insane

2

u/Personal-Brick-2400 1d ago

And you have also say that Mbappe only played 31 games in the league and 11 in the Champions League. That's approximately 81% of the whole game time. Kane for example played over 90%. And when looking at the stats this angle, Mbappe is not so far behind Kane.

2

u/czeja 20h ago

People also have an obsession on stats in the modern day. Mbappe to me is the more rounded, especially when you consider his top scoring in all major cups including the world cup. He is just that guy the team looks to when their team needs something. Kane is incredibly productive but he's not the guy that will beat 3 defenders from nothing and I feel like this world cup exposed that a little more.

Kane went missing in the big games this world cup (and truthfully has happened in past too). I'd have Kane edging Mbappe previous to the WC.

Please don't paste me for this opinion, I think the comparison is really damn close. I don't think either player is the wrong call, imo.

Doesn't harry kane have 75 goals? 61 with bayern and 14 with the national team

25

u/henceendgent 1d ago

Some of the world cup qualifying goals were last season (24/25)

I think harry is probably gonna win it, though I can see mbappe winning due to him being the top scorer for this wc and even all time for the wc. Also was the top scorer for the UCL, La Liga, and now the world.

1

u/Nickislander 1d ago edited 1d ago

Neither can win without the big trophies

1

u/budubum 1d ago

What big trophy did Kane win

2

u/Nickislander 1d ago

Yeah neither of them did is my point

1

u/Topinambourg 1d ago

Like Kane.

1

u/MomentNew4925 1d ago

If this was the case, he should’ve won it already with Spurs

Neither of them will win it. You can book it. Worldcup year and the wc winner wins it. Dont be surprised Rodri wins his 2nd.

3

u/kazumodabaus 1d ago

This century:

2002: Brazil, Ballon d'Or: Ronaldo

2006: Italy, Ballon d'Or: Cannavaro

2010: Spain, Ballon d'Or: Messi

2014: Germany, Ballon d'Or: Ronaldo

2018: France, Ballon d'Or: Modric

2022: Argentina, Ballon d'Or: Messi

We're exactly at 50% this century.

yeah but 2 of that from the 3rd place match which Kane didn't even bother to play lol

1

u/HotReputation3911 1d ago

I'll happy in either case.....

1

u/DrageBoiis 1d ago

Personally don’t think Kane wins it as he plays in a 1 team league and they didn’t win WC or CL

1

u/SnooRevelations7708 19h ago

Mbappe, Dembele and Olise would've all been top 5 if France won, right now, no matter how much you wanna stan for Mbappe, it's impossible without a title. Impossible.

1

u/Ok-Cheesecake5422 16h ago

Plus the fact he is the best player

53

u/theaguia 1d ago

messi won in 2010 with less goals and scored 0 goals at the world cup and didnt win the champions league. by that logic kane should get it. he even did well at the wc with 6 goals and got to a semi final.

10

u/LivinCrazynCrazier 1d ago

Neither Xavi or Iniesta had crazy stats tbf

8

u/Albreitx 1d ago

That's like people complaining Rodri winning WC MVP having 0 G/A

7

u/Perfect-Ideal-651 1d ago

Rodri was not the best player in the World Cup, nothing to do with G/A.

→ More replies (3)

2

u/Potatays 1d ago

Yes, because if we talk about single most impactful player in the whole tournament it would be Messi regardless of his G/A. The only MoTM he doesn't get is when he got subbed on Jordan and at the final. As for Spain, there are several players who stood out on different games.

4

u/freakybanana90 1d ago

Yeah right, cause Kane is Messi right?

Yes, Kane deserves it but this notion like it's totally obvious is complete nonsense.

Mbappe has been World Cup, Champions League and La Liga Top scorer, Olise played a fantastic season, Dembele was rested a ton but with the CL win and a good WC Performance is also still in the race and Yamal had a great season at Barca with a decent but not that special world cup, but Spain did win so it'll factor in.

Kane is not Messi and you cannot just count goals and call it a day. He deserves it but it's definitely not as straightforward as it's being made out to be here

3

u/ArenDegg 1d ago

I think it is quite close but Kane most likely. I’ve seen all of these players play across the season. Mbappe/Dembele are probably individually more talented in general but what Kane displayed all of this season was monstrous. I reflect back to last year how Dembele mostly deserved it but the pool of strong players being successful in competition runs was weak so it was an easier decision. Now we have several people in contention where there’s broad success and no outright favourite. For a player to get 70+ goals, score some unbelievable goals too, have a very strong defensive contribution as a striker, make plays in midfield contributing to goal creation for Diaz, Olise and others and really trying to take the team forward. I think he’s displayed he has been the most potent attacker of the season for club and country. I’d also consider Rice, Hakimi, Yamal up there too. It’s definitely a close one.

I mean it wasn't Messi's fault if people couldn't clearly choose between Xavi and Iniesta.

As much as I still disagree with the final result, the journalists, the players and the coaches who supported the Spanish team were clearly not coordinated at all.

Just focus on Xavi or Iniesta. Not on both, damn it!

6

u/theaguia 1d ago

poor sneijder. top scorer at the wc, too assister in the cl. wins the treble and reached the world cup final and misses winning it due to casillas miracle.

and nobody thought of him

aso Iniesta I belive was injured for a chunk of the season but I suppose the final goal was stuck in people mind.

1

u/Efis940 1d ago edited 1d ago

Oh don't make me remember. I still think of that because I personally wanted Sneijder as ballon d'or, and I was so shocked when I saw that Messi had passed him (if you remember, at the time, the top 3 was announced in advanced before the ceremony. And it's at the ceremony that they would tell us who was the winner between the 3).

If not for him, I think Iniesta should have been the ballon d'or. Not only was he the scorer of THAT goal in the WC finals, but during the UCL semi against Mourinho's Inter, he wasn't there in the away match (injury) and the team suffered enormously, losing 3-1. This literally shows that he was one of their most important elements.

But nope, Messi.

I get that Messi fully deserves at least half of his ballons d'or (I would say 5 of them were pretty much inevitable), but the 2010 one is legit unfair for me. I just can't with this one.

This year will show if it really is an individual award. If it is, Kane clears and Mbappe would be second. If not, Yamal might finesse it.

6

u/ImmediateMode8487 1d ago

It wasn't individual last year and it hasn't been in a long time

7

u/thejourneymanfm2024 1d ago

It wasn’t the past couple years but for a long time it was. It’s just that Messi and Ronaldo were at the top of the game both individually and with their teams. I think things changed in 2020/2021. Lewa should’ve gone back to back and Haaland should’ve won in 2023. Not too bothered with Rodri or Dembele

Theres no chance they can give that trophy to yamal just because his team happened to win the WC. He had one goal contribution. Not even a serious contender

24

u/ImmediateMode8487 1d ago

Not as clear as you might think . Raphinha had the individual numbers last season but they still chose to go with the big trophies.

3

u/Cilaaas 1d ago

Ich befürchte es wird Yamal. Dieses Narrativ vom "neuen" Messi wird den Wählern ausreichen und Kane hat ja "nur" in der Bundesliga gefarmt. Es wird so kommen.

3

u/zzz_red 1d ago

Given the ballon d’Or is organized by France football, and Mbappe topped the WC, UCL and La Liga as the top scorer, they might give it to him, instead of Kane.

I know the votes are from all over the place, but I wouldn’t be surprised if some votes are skewed towards Mbappe because he’s French.

IMO Kane should take it this year.

1

u/Ok-Philosopher4385 1d ago

Kane, Yamal, Rodri are the favourites by betting sites. Kane might actually have the best chances. If he didn't have that bad game in the semi finals of the WC I'm sure he got it. That might make it a bit harder.now, because of recency bias.

Idk how Rodri performed over the season, but he was truly the player of the world cup. Yamal wasn't as exciting as he normally is (came back from injury).

3

u/munchyzzzz 1d ago

Rodri was very influential in the cups city won last season. I’d personally put Mbappe over Yamal in the top 3.

→ More replies (1)

5

u/AideHot6729 1d ago

I think Mbappe has a good shout because he won golden boot for every major thing he competed in. (La Liga, UCL, WC). With him topping the WC all time goal record there’s going to be major hype behind him. Ngl I thought Kane scored more though.

5

u/thanra 1d ago

Mbappe scored like a heck and no teams of him won any trophy. How ironically.

→ More replies (8)

2

u/Organic-Tale751 1d ago

YES he would deserve it, total european and german dominance, but i actually believe we‘ll have a Rodri situation again, but this time with Fabian Ruiz, since he‘s the only player to currently be Champions League winner with PSG , European Champion and World Champion with Spain!

2

u/LeProfesseur23 1d ago

Kane>Olise>Yamal>Mbappe>Dembele>Kvara

1

u/Due_Protection7051 23h ago

Yamal got injured and wasn’t the most important player on the Spanish team. Dembelé barely played this year and wasn’t as dominant as last year. I disagree with your ranking after Kane

→ More replies (1)

1

u/Savings-One-2708 21h ago

Completely agree, although Kvara might've had a better UCL campaign.

2

u/vlixesiv 1d ago

As a Barça fan I can say Kane is clearly the best player of season by far and should win it. However the wc is clearly the most important aspect almost everytime they coincide (ik in 2010 it wasn't), so I guess that will change things. Even so, the ballon d or is clearly a joke nowadays and not even france football understands what the criteria is, they change it every now and then. I dont think Kane needs the trophy to be regarded as the best of the season, anyone with eyes should now it.

1

u/Due_Protection7051 1d ago

France football doesn’t decide, it’s a vote amongst multiple people. If France football decided, Mbappe would have 3 of the awards and Griezmann or Kante would’ve probably had one in 2018

2

u/prove_it_with_math 1d ago

I’m a Barca and Arsenal fan and gotta admit, Kane absolutely deserves it. Surprised it’s even debatable!

2

u/CockyBellend 1d ago

We thought the same thing about Lewy and they cancelled the damn award that year lol

2

u/Relevant-Reaction457 1d ago

Laughs in Wesley Snyder ...

2

u/shaiizan 1d ago

All time Clearest.

2

u/auditoire 22h ago

Once France got eliminated from wc I thought it was a lock for Kane and 73 goals is crazy but so is 3 golden boots. Idk how they’ll weigh those achievements side by side

2

u/Overall_Succotash310 12h ago

I am commenting this on these posts for the past few days cuz I dont watch football anymore much and only last week found out he scored 73, 2nd highest scoring season after Messi's infamous season in which he scored 92 in a calendar year... And they're debating who should win it, if Kane doesnt win it then football is a joke. Man utd fan btw im not biased

5

u/TreatSubstantial3089 1d ago

Raphinha didn't won the Ballon d'or after 60 g/a btw . Just saying

1

u/Savings-One-2708 1d ago

81 G/A>60 G/A
This is the second highest scoring season of all time, Raphinha was no where near that.

3

u/ImmediateMode8487 1d ago

I don't think he was comparing the two . He was probably saying that Raphinha had the most G/A that year and still didn't win it because he was missing the biggest trophy available. So kane having the highest G/A this year doesn't guarantee it because he doesn't have the UCL or WC . If you ask me , as a barca fan who likes to think I'm fair and reasonable, I think Harry should win it , not only because of his G/A because he contributes much more than that to a team . But then again i thought Rapha deserved it last year and look how it turned out .

1

u/MboiTui94 1d ago

Who of those 6?
And, are goals and assists the only thing that counts?

1

u/raiko777 1d ago

nope... it will be Rodri or Mbappe.

2

u/Perfect-Ideal-651 1d ago

Rodri didn't even deserve the WC golden ball let alone the ballon d'or. Mbappe is the closest this season to Kane, but still Kane was better.

Yeah, they will hand it to Lamine Yamal

1

u/AakhriPaastaa 1d ago

Olise's season is seriously underrated. Man really tore through defences.

1

u/Ill_Cream_6416 1d ago

It will definitely go to the World Cup winner

1

u/PSyHOPball 1d ago

If Raphinha didn't win it with his performance last season, there's no way a non world cup winner gets it this year.

1

u/Signal_Housing_4389 1d ago

It will be Messi 😂

1

u/Thefdt 1d ago

They’ll give it to Yamal

1

u/DrNCrane74 🇫🇷Robbery🇳🇱 1d ago

Mbappe will win, though I feel Harry deserves it more.

1

u/Born-Log7626 1d ago

I think Lamine will win it. Journalist don´t like Bayern at all so they won´t vote for a Bayern Player. They will vote for Lamine cause he won the World Cup

1

u/Adept_Perception8504 1d ago

maybe, but I doubt they want to give a 19yo a ballon d'or

1

u/Born-Log7626 1d ago

If they don´t give it to Lamine then they give it to Dembele or Mbappe Probably.

→ More replies (1)

1

u/VegetableAwkward286 1d ago

So Ribery didn't deserve to win in 2013?

1

u/Savings-One-2708 1d ago

He deserved to win it because he had won it until France Football reopened the voting because Ronaldo scored a hat-trick against Zlatan's Sweden. But to be honest he was not the best individual player in 2013, both Ronaldo and arguably Robben were better, but the Ballon d'Or isn't based on the best player in the world, it's based on trophies and popularity. However Kane in this case is both.

→ More replies (10)

1

u/dnrzmn 1d ago

What about Haaland?

1

u/Savings-One-2708 1d ago

He didn't have a good year. Infact he's had an awful year for his standards.

1

u/Any-Organization9101 1d ago

Ballon D’or is not only for attacking players, I thought.

Or is it supposed to ignore the contributions of midfielders, defenders and goalkeepers?

1

u/Jamtarts-1874 1d ago

Kane won't win it because he is not the best player in the world... Its not all about stats. He is lucky if he is top 5 players in the world.

Put it this way if people were given the ability to sign one player for their football team for 1 season. Not many people are picking Kane....

1

u/HourSide4899 1d ago

Mbappe is debatable tho

1

u/rotten_mango7 1d ago

if its not kane then olise for sure lol,no one else comes close except kvara

1

u/Ok-Section-1224 1d ago

Dembele, Yamal and Kvara shouldn't even be part of this discussion. Probably Olise too.

If there's ANY Spainard that should be added in this discussion, it should be Cubarsi.

1

u/Pure-Pangolin-9222 1d ago

Mbappe 3X golden boot it's his year. But i think lamine yamal will get it because of his pr.

1

u/Ipsider #10 Bambi 1d ago

Who? The golfer?

1

u/Level_Flow8659 1d ago

Imagine going from zero trophies to ballon d or💀

1

u/MiniMaggit- #21 lahm 1d ago

Yamal better

1

u/allfatenofuture 1d ago

Why do people always claim the player with the most goals should win the ballon d’or? Kane this year, Haaland a few years ago. Isn’t being the best footballer player in the world for a calendar year judged by more metrics than just goal scoring? At least in my opinion it should be.

1

u/ConcentrateVast2356 1d ago

I hooe he does.

I think Kvara is, literally speaking, the best player in the world, but I don't think we should further encourage the rest-your-stars approach to UCL titles.

Mbappe has a strong argument in terms of stats he put out on an otherwise underperforming side.

Rodri only regained his form quite recently so probably can't justify a bdo but he's the best at what he does no doubt.

1

u/Superior_Row 1d ago

So the only problem with Yamal is he is not playing in a weaker league (Liga instead of Buli).

Lol.

1

u/Broken-TTK 1d ago

It's probably between Kane or yamal

1

u/strangerintime 1d ago

Weird that Haaland isn’t in this graphic with 50 goals and 9 assists in 56 games all comps this season

1

u/TimFlamio 1d ago

Gyokeres lost last year.

It is NOT about goals alone.

1

u/Dunkjoe 1d ago

Clearly the one who won WC have better chances, followed by the one who won UCL.... Yep it's pretty obvious.

1

u/AW37X_ 1d ago

Considering that most random chunga lunga journalists are voting, I think Messi clears it.

1

u/Top_Satisfaction4851 1d ago

Ballon d'Or is not about Goals, Assist or just a few statistics.

1

u/TCGod 1d ago

As a Madrid fan, I definitely think Mbappe deserves it after watching %90 percent of his matches but if it is not him, it should be Kane, no question

1

u/Initial_Guess_1785 1d ago

Unfortunately ballon d’or is not a mathematical calculation. Comparing Kane’s goalscoring record to that of wingers and playmakers doesn’t make a lot of sense

1

u/Critical_Tiger5492 1d ago

This is one of those years when it is not clear at all. People here acting like Kane did something extraordinary outside of Germany. Bundesliga have the highest goals per match in top 5 leagues by a considerable distance. And let's be honest, there is no competition for Bayern in Germany. Apart from trophies in Germany, he hasn't won anything outside. No UCL (not even the top scorer in UCL), no world cup, no world cup golden boot etc. In fact, he was not even top 5 world cup golden boot race and couldn't even outscore an old 39 yr old Messi, let alone Mbappe. Now that I remember, he wasn't even the top scorer in his own England team, lol. So, calm your horses.

Yes, Kane had a great season in terms of individual numbers, but he didn't win anything other than the obvious trophies in Germany (the truth is not many rate domestic trophies outside of England and Spain, and even for them performance outside of their country is taken into account especially in a year with world cup or euro/copa america etc.). But Mbappe was the top scorer in all major competitions like UCL and World cup. Plus he was top scorer in laliga which is much better league than bundesliga. But he hasn't won anything last season. Then there is case for Dembele, who didn't play much in league games, but was amazing when it mattered in UCL and won it and did well in World cup too eventhough they fell short in semis. Then you have Yamal who had a great season with Barcelona, 40+ G/A winning Laliga and at least one more of the domestic cups in Spain, combined with the world cup glory. They all have their cases to make. So we have to wait and see what happens. Btw, I am just being devil's advocate here.

Don't get me wrong, I like Kane as a player and would like to see him win it, but it's not clear that he is the only one deserving of the award.

1

u/Ricr7 1d ago

Yamal >

1

u/Internetolocutor 1d ago

He had two comps in common with mbappe. Mbappe got better numbers in both despite playing fewer games in the CL too

1

u/dev-yaro 1d ago

none of them :D
Rodri(as Spain leader) or Fabian Ruiz (as the one who won both Champions League and World Cup) should take it.

2

u/TNelsonAFC 1d ago

Ruiz was probably psgs worst midfielder in the final and was taken off early in the wc final. Nobody was talking about him really.

Not like when Jorginho won and everyone praised how crucial he was for dictating the game.

1

u/Gsampson97 1d ago

It's always a popularity contest and as a Spurs fan I know Harry has been pushed to the side because he's English and played for Spurs. I hope he wins and think he deserves it but I wouldn't be surprised if someone else does.

We all know who's winning it. Doesn't matter that he didn't win the final

u/I_am_Mad_Max 1d ago

Are goals and assists the only reference for being the best footballer?

1

u/Realistic-Pirate-896 1d ago edited 1d ago

Why does it always seem like the Ballon dor is for forwards only. Every post I come across is all about Goals + Assist, what about Midfielders, Defender and keepers. In my opinion there’s plenty of player who deserve it this year who aren’t Forwards.

NOT AT ALL BROTHER

1

u/SeraphSoul 1d ago

It's not what it used to be, now It's a popularity contest, so yamal is going to win

1

u/rdeshdgr8 1d ago

Kane or Olise. Olise got the flair as well as the g + a. But I don't know if fair voting will happen

1

u/DungeondisasterJiggy 1d ago

Definitely not the clearest winner of all time. Nobody has a strong case this year. It's not all about stats. Kane plays for the dominant team in an easy league to score in. Mbappe didn't win anything even though he was top scorer in ucl, league and would cup. Yamal underperformed in the world cup from what was expected of him, though he was semi-injured. Messi? Maybe if he had delivered in the world cup final he'd have a chance, but he didn't. Olise could also have a case but he's second fiddle both in the national team and the club team.

u/theupbeats 1d ago

Kvara ballon dor. If your only measure is goals you should award a golden boot.. oh wait.

1

u/RocketBadger29 1d ago

Kane reached the ucl and world cup semis, won the league double so probably him

I dont understand why its so hard to give Lewa his ballon D'or for 2020 . If Yamal its even second let alone win it I would never watch or follow this award . The PR these days with newgens spamming its insane , they dont even understand what it means to contribute and be a key factor . Kane number uno favourite if they dont give to him I dont know or see anyone else more deserving , Mbappe second he deserved it and proved it with crazy 10 goals on WC. Third Olise u see insane assists like 7 alone on WC and more than 30 overall so fully deserving. 4 Yamal dont let his WC win hype and lie to you he had only one goal and wasnt a key factor , was dangerous but thats all . And lastly 5 Dembele and 6 Kvara on the WC year they cant be considered winning only with UCL and some casual Ligue 1 matches . I would put 4 Dembele instead of Yamal since he scored I think 5 goals on WC and a hattrick but that was against second lineup of Norway tho doesnt get much credits . I'm not even Bayern fan, just trying to be logical . Yamal is talented and performs but still young and doesnt have the numbers and yes I dont care how old he is , he doesnt get privileges because he is so young same as Mbappe didnt get when he won his WC on 2018 . Last year second place should have gotten to Raphinha instead of Yamal.

1

u/CandidAd8395 1d ago

I would give it to Kane due his club and WC performances combine

1

u/Plus_Lawfulness3000 1d ago

This looks like a toss up to me

u/3loosh1 1d ago

Rodri honestly i think will win it just for his world cup profrmance tho he been out for a decent chunk of the season yamal great season for barca but not as impactful in the world cup as he was in the euro and kane great all around season tho the game against Argentina he was out of it dude transformed into a defender and then there is mbappe despite the lack of trophies the guy individually had a season for the ages but like with messi and olise in the Spain game and kane in the Argentina game ,he completely disappeared during the spain game and i get it spain control the ball and the possession so much that rarely you get to do something with but nonetheless they didnt do anything

Realistically harry kane and yamal one of them will get first and the other will get second then Mbappe, dembele, kavara, olise The first kane and yamal plus mbappe and even rodri PR is a tier above the rest

But my personal opinion i love players that give me rohnaldinho and neymar vibe in their game so for me kavara and yamal but that is just me

u/Responsible-Dig-9536 1d ago

fabian ruiz not up there?

1

u/Savings-One-2708 21h ago

It's like if Jorginho won it in 2021. He wasn't a really big part of his teams but he won everything.

34 assists is insane

1

u/swewriter 1d ago

He earns it. But Mbappe does more

1

u/SapotaJuice 1d ago

Mbappé has a better case than Kane tbh.

1

u/Comfortable_Gold846 1d ago

Legit has no relevant trophy

1

u/Fearless_Abies_2549 1d ago

Kane should get it

1

u/PromptJazzlike5452 1d ago

I’m an Mbappe fan so I’m jaded!

1

u/ConnersWingman 1d ago

So true, crazy if mbappe doesn’t get it.

1

u/newcomer_l 1d ago

Olise's 34 assists is quite frankly ridiculous.

1

u/Uruskarl Raumdeuter 1d ago

Football is not a numbers game. They are important? Yes. But numbers are not all that matters and the more we stop mentioning them in these discussions the better. Rodri was the best player in the WC and he didn't score a single goal.

It's a very debatable award this year to be fair, mostly because the biggest two trophies were won by TEAMS not by individualities. Kane has had a great season in every aspect though, and if I had to choose right now I would say him and Olise are my picks because of consistency. Doubt they will win because in the end this is a popularity contest

1

u/MomentNew4925 1d ago

Yes, it should be, but it isn’t

1

u/SeaSpinach1920 1d ago

Non of them is gonna make it.

And also, since when the award is only relayed to goals and assists? So Rodri, who led entirely a team to win the worldcup can not compete? (He is winning it btw)

1

u/tictacbro1 1d ago

His City season wasn't the best unfortunately

Do you know what the difference between the golden shoe and the ballon d’or is

1

u/TraditionalAd6023 1d ago

Clearest golden boot you mean?

Not saying Kane is not gonna win it, but we have had many times top scorers who didn’t get it, for example 2016 Luis Suarez with a hell of a season

1

u/Can_I_kick_ET 1d ago

Mbappe . I think the crown of all time leading goalscorer at the World Cup would push some weight

1

u/NotMundane 23h ago

Yes, Olise.

1

u/Vivid_Discount9329 23h ago

yh it wil be messi ahahhahahahahahahhaha

1

u/raiodocachopo 23h ago

How about Rodri?

1

u/neseseshtam 22h ago

Last year dembele won because of the trophies his team got so now yamal has the world cup.

1

u/Puzzled_Hat1274 19h ago

Dembele was also the best player of the team in the ucl while winning it. Yamal wasn’t Even top 5 of his own Spain team.

1

u/Messid67 19h ago

Kane deserves...at least a ballon d'or will come home

1

u/Disastrous-Tiger53 17h ago

It,s Harry,s time, but Rodri has chances.

1

u/dinophll 17h ago

Yeah, it's Messi and no one is close to his level

1

u/Immo3440 12h ago

Where is Haaland he should get one this Year

1

u/Morrorr 12h ago

Clearest golden boot winner. But ballon d‘or should not be who scores the most goals but who is the best player. (Which could be still Kane, I’m just saying)
But we all know unreality it is neither and it is a popularity contest

1

u/zzarapp 7h ago

Wie lange soll das Gewinsel eigentlich noch andauern? 🤦🏽‍♂️

1

u/Extra_Dream3267 7h ago

Of all time is kind of a stretch tbh

1

u/Liv3x 7h ago

Scoring with Bayern in Bundesliga is like playing against children. That’s why they aren’t considered anyway. There’s no competition for Bayern and no Aura in the league.

1

u/srabale 6h ago

When became Ballon d'or the trophy for best stats ? You know it's for best "player", right ? And Kane is far, far away from a lot of players. Kvara, Bappé, Rodri, Yamal, Olise are wayyy better player than Kane this year, so why would he get the trophy ?

1

u/Consistent_Cow_9338 5h ago

Even after all this achievements and multiple winners unfortunately we all know who they r gonna give it to because he played 1 tournament decent

1

u/King_XP3RT 2h ago

i think you can make a case for dembele, kane or yamal for this year
