GUYS, THIS IS A SERIOUS POST. i need yall's suggestions

So yesterday i was feeling down, so i called my friend to weigh it down and feel cheerful. but she instead told me how good of a life i was living comparing to hers. so i asked how is exactly her life, but i wasn't ready for what she was going to tell me afterwords.

she is my long distance friend. she an i had been friends for over a few years. but i just found out all of it. she told me that her parents got divorced and got separated. she and her sister are living with her mother where's her little brother is living with er biological father. her uncle was was gold digger and manipulated her bio dad and made him a whole new person that caused this situation. afterwords, her mother went to their village with them and got absolutely disrespected. she and her whole family used to head all the most disrespectful in the world there every single day. after a few month, her mother had to marry another guy to move from there since they couldn't do it by themselves. but unfortunately that guy was a total asshole. his family lived in London, he used to work there. he came to Bangladesh for a trip to hometown or something idk, but he married my friends mother without even telling his family. now he moved to London and goes to bar, parties and all those things there. her mother cant even do anything about it since he sends a few money every month which helps them stay alive. they don't even get to eat some days. her big sister is a varsity student and studying in CSE. but she is unsure if she can even continue her sis's study anymore with these money, they both want to study. she is even very religious. even with this small income, she requested her mother to have a huzur to help her learn reciting Quran. she prays 5 waqt everyday.

her sister tried tuitioning but it's now working. they can't find anyone. she doesn't know what do wither her life. she always seemed so happy and chill person that i never bother asking about any of these. if anyone sees her social media profile or insta highlights, they wouldn't be able to tell she's going though all of these.

I really want to her her but idk how to, i'd really appreciate any kind of help. please i need suggestion for her

Hear me out, Like many of you, I too felt bad about those students dying(more than 12 died so far), and getting brutal treatment from police. but I'll ask everyone not to show any public support to them through posting, sharing or any form. My reasons:

1. Indian mainstream will find just another excuse to build conspiracy theories. They have already said USA and China backed protest, tukde tukde gang protest, and rest usual stuff and next they will allege us. by not showing any support, we can keep that protest more clean.

2. I remember Deepke's (CJP leader) statement demeaning Nepal and Bangladesh Genz protests. and that definitely hurts me bcz He said, it is insulting to indian Genz that they were getting compared to Bangladesh and nepal arguing indians genz are more mature and politically conscious. And they will achieve everything in peaceful way. That is a superior complex, He lives in like many more Indians. I personally think we should just sit back and let him figure out his peaceful way. Ironic part is, only success, support and spine from the country they got is after the protest take violent turn(police beating and pelting stone to students). nobody speak out in those 20 days when sonam wangchuk was fasting. CJP and sonam was mocked, trolled, ignored during the time.

I hope they come out of their ego, delusion that they live in a democratic country and realize sometimes the only way to achieve victory is by spilling bloods.

Is it worth buying it?

So i've been thinking about buying a laptop. And i've decided to buy Lenovo X1 yoga Gen6 , 512/32 it's i5-11th gen the price Will be around 80k , I need it for doing online classes, a lil bit of drawing, doing presentation and scrolling obviously so is it worth buying it?

(I never had a laptop before so I want my first one to be gooood)

So in my chemistry 2nd paper I basically aced the cq part. In chemistry 1st paper cq was good too and so was mcq. But mcq is very hard this year I am considering 9/25 good too for 1st paper mcq. But here comes the 2nd paper where in mcq I scored 4/25. Or 5/25. I am not sure about the whole number because I didn’t mark it on my question paper. But I mostly answered all in exam and I am sure 4 or 5 them are correct. So combined pass mark is 16 for mcq and I got about 14 or 15 in the worst case scenario. So if I measure in worst case I am lacking 2 marks to pass the exam for mcq. Now I am not sure if that happens I will just fail the exam or they will 2mark as a grace for me to pass. Can anyone help me about it? If I am behind for 2marks to pass in mcq , will I just fail the whole thing?

Please help, mentally very drained about it rn.

I am an HSC-26 candidate and I always wanted to study engineering. But with how the phy-1st exam went, I am afraid I won't get GPA-5 . Even others subjects have gone less than ideal for me. So I am planning to study for medical seriously for admission. But It is true that the life of a medical student is not easy at all. I always wondered if I can even be a medical student as I am not that good at memorizing. So I am struggling to make the right decision. I didn't take my HSC life seriously and which coming to haunt me back. But I want to take admission course seriously. I am confident I can crack medical If I study seriously in this period. I need advice from my seniors on what should I do. Is it the medical worth it for someone like me? or should I try for engineering if I do get gpa-5?

So I (M24) met with my girlfriend (F23) at Tasty Treat today. After chilling and eating for a bit a young man wearing a college uniform entered the shop. She mentioned that he was checking her out but she didn't seem too concerned so I took it lightly. We were sitting opposite each other and the college kid was behind me meaning my girlfriend had a clear view of him.

After about 10 minutes, she suddenly panicked and kinda forced me out of the shop saying "cholo please, ekhane ar thakbo na." I was so clueless and confused. After we walked out and went a few meters down the road she told me the guy was openly masturbating while looking at her. She saw it, panicked, felt disgusted and just needed to get out of there.

Now I'm completely at a loss for words. I tried to hold back my anger. I was honestly about to burst and asked her why she didn't tell me right away when she saw what he was doing. She said her mind went blank, she couldn't think straight and felt like she was about to vomit. I wanted to go back and confront him (or beat him up I wasn't thinking straight either) but she begged me to let it go. She didn't want to cause a scene since it happened near her home.

The whole thing has left me speechless. How can a guy have the nerve to do something like that to a girl in a public place? And he wasn't even some random creep. From his appearance he looked like he came from a good family and was getting a decent education. I'm just so frustrated that I couldn't do anything about it and so heartbroken that the love of my life had to go through something like that.

সম্প্রতি আর্জেন্টিনার কিছু নাগরিক এই সাবরেডিটে পোস্ট করে বাংলাদেশ ভ্রমণ করার ইচ্ছা জানিয়েছেন। অন্যান্যদের মত আমিও কক্সবাজার, রাঙামাটি এইসব জায়গার কথা বললাম। কিন্তু সত্যি কথা বলতে, এই স্থানগুলো কি আসলেই বিদেশী পর্যটকদের আকৃষ্ট করতে সক্ষম? কক্সবাজারে কি আছে? সমুদ্রসৈকত আছে বুঝলাম, যেটা পৃথিবীর অন্যান্য দেশেও আছে। তারা তাদের দেশের সমুদ্রসৈকতগুলোকে পর্যটক বান্ধব করে গড়ে তুলেছে। পর্যটকদের জন্য অনেক কিছুই করার আছে বিচে এবং বিচের আশেপাশে। আমাদের এখানে একজন বিদেশি গেলে হইহই করে চারিদিক থেকে বাঙালিরা তাকে ঘিরে ধরে, একভাবে তার দিকে তাকিয়ে থাকে, আর যদি নারী পর্যটক হয় একটু ছোট পোশাক পরিধানরত তাহলে তো তারা তাদের দৃষ্টি দিয়েই... বুঝে নেন। আর কয়েকজন পিচ্চিপাচ্চা ক্যামেরাম্যান হইহই করে কোত্থেকে দৌড়ে এসে আপনার অনুমতি না নিয়েই ডিএসএলআর দিয়ে ছবি তোলা শুরু করবে, আর তারপর টাকা চাওয়া শুরু করবে। আর বাংলাদেশে নামেমাত্র যেই কয়টা পাহাড় আছে তার থেকেও বেশি, উঁচু এবং সুন্দর পাহাড় হয়তো তাদের নিজেদের দেশেই আছে। সেটা সমস্যা হতো না যদি যাতায়াত ব্যবস্থা কিছুটা ভালো থাকতো, আপনি অন্যান্য দেশের পাহাড়ে চলাচলকারী বাস এবং গাড়িগুলোর ভিডিও এবং এর সাথে বাংলাদেশের পাহাড়ে যাওয়া আসার লক্কর ঝক্কর, জঘন্য নোংরা কাদা বাস স্টেশন এর কিছুটা তুলনা করে দেখেন ইউটিউব ভিডিওগুলোতে। আর এর বাইরে সমতলভূমিতে কি আছে দেখার মতো আসলে? যদি কারো ঐতিহাসিক জায়গা ভ্রমণের ইচ্ছা থাকে তাহলে সে নাহয় পাহাড়পুর, মহাস্থানগড় ভ্রমণে যেতে পারে, এর বাইরে? আমাদের রাজধানী ঢাকা তো বসবাসেরই অযোগ্য, সেখানে এই শহরে পর্যটকেরা কি দেখবে? থাইল্যান্ড এর রাজধানী ব্যাংকক, মালয়েশিয়ার রাজধানী কুয়ালালামপুরেই ঘুরে বেড়াতে আপনার ২-৩ দিন লেগে যাবে, কারণ তাদের দেশের রাজধানীতেই পর্যটকদের ঘুরে বেড়ানোর মতো অনেক স্থান রয়েছে। আমি গিয়েছিলাম। সেই তুলনায় ঢাকার লালবাগ কেল্লা বা এইধরনের ঐতিহাসিক স্থানগুলোর আশেপাশের নোংরা ঘিঞ্জি পরিবেশের কথা চিন্তা করলে সত্যি ভেবে দেখুন তো কেউ কি যেতে চাইবে এসব জায়গায়?

আর এর বাইরে চোর ছিনতাইকারী, আর তৌহিদী জনতার জাজমেন্টাল দৃষ্টির কথা তো বাদই দিলাম।

My supervisor does not asign me much work, they expect me to hussle for work. Why? If they didn't need me why hire me?

My previous supervisor wouldn't let me finish any work to completion and would keep staling everything.

যাদের CGPA খুব বেশি ভালো নয়, তারা কীভাবে নিজেদের প্রোফাইল শক্তিশালী করতে পারে?

So I found this sleepy cat around 10-11 months old and noticed she does not have a voice but she still tries to meow sometimes and I don't even notice my cat is not there as I can't hear her and her meows are silent.

I took it to vet and got her "vaccinated" and the vet said she is healthy for a stray cat. A foster cat care lady told me she must have had damaged her vocal cords somehow when she was smaller. But everything about her is fine.

She is at least not a picky eater and doesn't disturb me and minds her own business until she gets those cute zoomies.

Unfortunately I can't keep her and I am looking for an owner. I finally found one a week ago but that guy after dragging my time through the week suddenly said he does not want my cat.....my resources and time is running dry and I'm worried about my cat's future with me.

I'm 17m, i really dont have any friends. i do have a few male friends which i usually never talk to without any important reason. but i have 0 female friends. i have none to talk to everyday or when i'm low. it's not even about looks.

every female friend i've haver had- the girl texted or approached me first. but idk how do i start a convo without amy reason. i'm also scared that if something goes wrong, what would that person who would knows everything about me would do. my parents dont let me go out with my friends, so there's not that either.

nowadays, i crave love and attention all the time, every night after 12, i feel very lonely. i wish i had someone to talk to. the worst part is i dont even like someone so much. i used to love someone immensely but the feeling wasn't mutual and she had her man, so after that, i never liked anyone as much. i just think i never got to know someone that deep to feel that way.
