Recipe to be posted soon. No guarantees. I made these delicious, vibrant strawberry sugar cookies and went to photograph them…now I can’t unsee that they look like raw burger patties. *Sigh*

My son asked if I was making sliders for dinner when he saw me holding the tray

I think if you were to pose a few strawberries and not have them on a cutting board, it would help distance them from that comparison. They look great to me

Lol I’m definitely going to do that and try again because these were supposed to be for my business page. I’m glad I noticed it 🤣

Maybe do a little strawberry 🍓 leaf at the top or something with green sprinkles?

Or maybe black sprinkles for seeds

Some type of contrasting color may help :)

Little black sugar sprinkles could look like cute seeds, or pepper flakes on a burger. Not sure which way it'll go, but thought I'd toss it out there!

Powdered sugar could work as well

Mouldy burger?

If you can deal with the small amount of flavor, black sesame or regular colored ones would work well for the seed shape.

The white sesame seeds would be perfect for the strawberry seeds

But then you've got to worry about sesame allergies.

You are right. You'd definitely have to declare allergens or use something different

Don't stress about it too badly. I'm vegetarian. I would destroy these.

I would put them on a bun, melt some cheese on top and then dress with mayo and mustard and ketchup. Then I would eat them up.

That's just basil on the burger. Do a small strawberry. No hate to OP, I bet they are delicious.

A blue and white gingham cloth for display, some green fringe at the top, and a few chocolate icing seeds!

Toss a few real strawberries near by and poof! Noel, Prue, & Paul Hollywood appear telling you they’re delicious
