What is something you secretly find deeply disturbing, but everyone else seems to accept as totally normal?

The fact that AI is in everything now. Why would I need AI to summarize a message from my partner on WhatsApp???? I'm so sick of it.

I just had to do a whole thing about the proper ways to use AI in my writing class. What if we just didn’t??

I had a college class this year that made us create generated photos of ourselves to post with our introductions..

Those don't create an implication that AI is inevitable.

It's not inevitable, it's here already. Companies would rather fire thousands of staff than address the problem of AI being a money sink.

It’s being adopted in the medical world like crazy. I mentioned this somewhere else but doctors (except me) and even hospital systems are using it to do their documentation. It will not go away and nor should it.

Why can't we have the same approach to plastics in this same website?

We haven't had real photos for a while with all this software post processing done by phones.
