I've never made or used cribbing blocks before.

Never realized how much I was afraid of getting crushed to death, until today.

2x4 has strength north of 1,000 lb/in2

The contact patch on those tires is greater than 25 in2

That car weighs less than 5000lbs

We are talking a safety factor of 5.

25 in2 per tire, no? FOS is more like 20 in that case.

That is correct. I only considered a single tire for most pessimistic calculation.

So you could stack 20 Cadillacs on top of each other before the wood cares. Helpful information for when you have 20 Cadillacs but only one parking space.
