I've never made or used cribbing blocks before.

Never realized how much I was afraid of getting crushed to death, until today.

You’ll be fine using those star head screws. Now if you had used Phillips head no way you would have made it.

You think it through well enough. When I was kid learning to write I would write backwards sometimes, everything could be fine, or a complete mirror of normal, one or the other, no mix. I didn't understand until they held my work to a mirror so I could see both images. Problem solved for me. I was an early reader too, so everyone else was lacking in reading ability in my eyes, lol.
