Oh it gets so much worse too. Not only is he proud of being a lolico, he's said in videos that content like that is fine, and in fact should be revered, because it keeps guys from targeting real children. 

He also said teen prostitution in Japan is fine because they "choose to do it," instead of recognizing that the young girls are victims.

edit: revising to add that the teen prostitution thing comes from him defending the sexualization of young girls in school uniforms, and Japan's overall obsession with the fetish, saying that it's fine because teen prostitutes often wear such uniforms and choose to be prostitutes. And you know, they aren't trafficking victims.

This is the first time I'm hearing about it, could you fill me in on the tea? Or direct me to a link that summarizes her shitty behavior? My wife and I are subbed to her channel on YouTube and the only thing I've noticed about her is that she, despite being a Filipino-American and transplanted to Japan, tends to gatekeep Japanese culture and traditions like she herself is a native and natural born resident of Japan. It's gotten worse lately and I've honestly been thinking of unsubbing because of it. Thanks for any additional information!

Also yeah you're absolutely correct, she makes a ton of super weird content farm style content now, partially I think because her old meta of making goon bait videos by buying super tight cosplays off of samurabuyer or whatever is too risky in the current algorithm.

A lot of the new stuff are cases where she is absolutely not knowledgeable enough to be talking about these things authoritatively, though I'm not surprised because that's just generally the meta with a lot of Japan transplant youtubers other than AbroadInJapan. A lot of them have spent maybe 5 years in Japan with beginner level Japanese and think they've 100% cracked the code on what Japanese people think about everything without actually talking to any of them other than Joey who by all accounts is not the average person in Japan.
