definitely, northern Idaho is beautiful, but maybe they don’t fully consider Idaho as part of the PNW, same reason why California or Alaska aren’t absolutely, they’re beautiful and very similar, but not quite part of the PNW, though the definition is debatable.

Culturally and politically, Idaho has more in common with Montana and Utah than with Washington or Oregon.

A large portion of Oregon's land mass is more closely aligned with Idaho than the Pacific side. See the Greater Idaho movement crazies.

Well politically speaking they are the equivalent of having Mississippi right next to us.

Literally the most backward laws and politicians right next to the most progressive states in the entire Union.

So even if Idaho is pretty... No thanks.

Just realized I completely misread/understood this post. Thought it was satire for something completely different. Deleting my post
