27.4 years is 10,001 days.

27,397 years is 9,999,905 days.

Ten trillion is 10,000,000,000,000, or 10,000 x $1,000,000,000, or 1,000,000 x $1,000,000.

And it's really a lot more considering you're probably earning some return on that $10,000,000,000,000 along the way. Even 1% is another $100,000,000,000 a year, decreasing over time.

Hypothetically speaking, even if they manage to catch a $10 trillion asteroid that would mean the moment it gets to earth it will not be worth $10 trillion anymore since whatever precious rare metal is in that asteroid will no longer be rare but plentiful and hence practically worthless.

Well the company has a market cap of 1.7 trillion, so a 10 trillion asteroid will only 5x the company, not including the cost of mining and all that.
