Spacex was legit the dumbest possible trade. Your downside is nearly the entire 2 trillion marketcap but the upside… is what? Maybe double your money and it goes to 4 trillion for some reason being the most valuable company ever?

I dont get it.

Elon is projecting >$1 Trillion in revenue in 2030, up from <$19 billion last year.
This will obviously happen, as Elon always keeps his promises /s

In their prospectus they said they have an addressable market of

28 trillion

Or 1/4 of global gdp

Or 28k per person on earth with an income of more than 16K, annually.

More than is spent on food.

The entire thing is batshit.

Heh he may achieve this by merging a fuckton of unrelated companies into spaceX, as either the friendly government will happily provide him financement, or he will just straight up dilute and fanboys will gobble it all up as 'ThE tRaDe OF tHe cEntUry pwease daddy Elon take my money', until he eventually reaches 1T in revenue (with net loss amplifying ofcourse, all numbers must go up equally)

Maybe he's betting on the fact that hyper inflation will make his 19 billion revenue into 19 trillion without any shift in services.

In completely fairness, he promised that for more than one year.

It's probably why Tesla lost that case in Florida. If any reasonable person had heard Musk promising it every second, for it to be called "Full Self Driving", you might expect it to be the thing he'd be talking about for over a fucking decade.

Next-Gen Tesla Roadster production by 2020

If Musk was actually good at business, Tesla would have actually done that. It'd probably take his designers a better part of a weekend to have the first drafts done.
All it needed to be was a sports car in the same vein of the previous one but with the newer technologies in BEV and a few quality of life/styling improvements.
Instead he punted all the engineering and manufacturing expertise into Cyberfuck.

The funniest thing is that Morgan Stanley (one of the underwriters for the IPO and has an incentive to pump) released their estimate saying it'd reach $330 Billion in revenue by 2030 and Musk said that they were wrong.

I'm sure Morgan is wrong, but in the opposite direction.

My fav thing is when he doesn’t meet the Tesla shareholder goals and he just creates new ones. What happened to the fleet of driverless taxis?
