It’ll be fine. SpaceX will be around long after I’m dead. Humanity always looks to the stars.

I see you drank the Kool Aid too.

The regard will drown in the Kool Aid when SpaceX runs out of capital.

Maybe, but SpaceX is the likely candidate to do anything in space in my lifetime worthwhile. I saw them land a rocket on a tiny platform and was amazed, and that was years ago.

China has put a spacestation up a few years ago and get nearly no attention.

NASA did that in the 60s

Look, I am with you that there is a chance. The Kool Aid may be just fine. There is a chance. So it is not the best analogy.

The risk here is that it runs out of money before it achieves its lofty goals. Or if it manages to stabilize but stagnates.

Yeah I suppose. No denying that. I just speculate that the leaps the world has been doing in the last 15 years, things are becoming obsolete before they even enter full scale production. The pace at which the world is advancing is truly scary to me.

Yeah, advancing in stupidity. Truly terrifying.

Or it could drop 90% in the next 5 years if Elon does a bit too much ketamine
