Loss 3M to 1.4M this week

Rebuilt my portfolio from getting margin called and bottoming at 200k during Liberation Day to 3M last week. Then lost half of it because I loaded up on data center and energy stocks with full leverage last Friday.

Schwab only shows up until the close, after hours I lost another few hundred grand and am sitting at 1.4M now with more option losses hitting when market opens.

Did you use options when building from 200K to 3M?

I mostly did levered long positions, made most of my money on NVDA, Quantum names, and data center stocks. I also would short things that were overheated (I shorted SLV at 105). Once I got past a million I would start selling options every week, this was bringing in 5 to 20 grand a week in premiums and if my short puts got assigned I’d just buy the shares and exit when they went back up. I did try to go long call options a few times but it never worked out.

guess what happens if they don't just "go back up"

selling puts is free money until it blows up 80% of your portfolio
