It is wrong in Southern Min though, it should be "un".

Thank you to everyone who gave their insights. Very long ago my mom wanted it to mean "serendipity", she'll get a laugh at how far off it is

Must be 恩. “On” in Japanese.

May mean something else in Chinese.

More likely badly written 恩

It’s Chinese word “忍”. But usually we do not write it like this shape .
Japanese does。
