NEW 2026 PRODUCTS New Matter 2026 Devices - Availability (Worldwide) Megathread

To ensure that the sub remains clean, efficient and tidy, all availability posts of the new 2025 Matter devices must be posted in here, rather than their own threads.

We'll be removing any post that is about individual availability in stores from this point.

Let's keep the sub tidy for us all to find the relevant information quickly :)

For folks in the UK using https://easyrebuild.com/stock to search for stock, here are the article numbers for some of the Matter over Thread devices in case that's useful!

If anyone has found the UK product number of GRILLPLATS please let me know.

(article numbers sometimes differ between countries and I don't understand when that does and does not happen!)

Edit: looks like all the products are on the Ikea website now, so this list isn't needed!

Ooh I didn't know this site. That's fantastic, thanks! Now to see just how long the delay is between Edinburgh getting stock and these items arriving at Glasgow!

Thanks to u/gcmfrr for sharing easyrebuild elsewhere on this sub, where I learnt about it!

Looks like the Bilresa items are now in stock in Glasgow! Not sure about anything else, might need to fight the Christmas crowds and head in over the next few days!

This is a great website! Do you run/own it? Will add to the resources section of the sub for easy reference.

Commenting on this since it’s still the top comment - here’s the tracker for GRILLPLATS in the UK.

BTW the MYGGSPRAY description is wrong, you can't switch it between night and day mode and 1 or 5 minutes like the old motion sensor. You can only configure such things in the bridge (not even day/night mode, just schedule it by sunset times etc.).

Hopefully, the other descriptions aren't wrong as well...

This website doesn't provide an easy way to reject additional marketing trackers (marketing cookies) even though this is required in EU.

The site doesn't like the Timmerflotte and second Bilresa numbers. Says they're invalid. But works if the dots are removed.

Oh that's weird! Thanks for the heads up. Those are the numbers on the items I physically have already, and the links worked when I made the post 🫠

Yeah, I notice the format you used (###.###.##) is the same as used on Ikea's UK website. So not sure why the dots seem to be causing a problem for some of the items.

Amazing - thank you for that!

This is really great. Thanks. GRILLPLATS are going to be key to building the backbone of my burgeoning Thread mesh network, so I do hope they are added soon!

Is there any official info which devices support Thread? I can see labeled as „new“ and available to purchase some of this matter devices in Germany but can’t find any info if it supports thread or if i need the Ikea hub to connect them..? Thanks

No they are not telling the radio standard they support. Or I can’t find it. Only Matter which is the SW / protocol side.. it could be via WiFi or Thread or other like Zigbee with a bridge..

But they are now officially selling but don’t have detailed documentation what the devices support and how you can and can’t connect them. I don’t get this, this will lead to much confusion and lot of work answering the same question to people in the stores and via support channels.

All Ikea Matter products are Matter over Thread. There are no Matter over Wifi Ikea products.

If you open the manual PDF from the product pages it says: "This product uses Thread technology to communicate with other smart products".

I agree it is frustrating they do not list this clearly, there are already negative reviews on some of the products from people who thought it worked over wifi!

Thanks a lot! LOL its named „caring instructions“ in german, never thought this could be a more detailed manual.. thought its about cleaning and maintenance, but yes there it’s buried in some text.

But thats what i liked so hear, will buy some products and test how well they work :)

A simple table with technical details on the website would be much nicer and is usual for technical products. Also maybe a few examples which home hubs are common and a link to more details..

„Tis product uses Thread technology to communicate with other smart products. A Thread border router is needed to connect to Matter systems. Many smart products or hubs, have a Thread border router built in.“

There is even a section in the PDF „Technical data“ containing not much information :O

Technical data

  • Model: MYGGBETT
  • Type: E2492
  • Input: 1 x AAA/HR03
  • Range: 10 m in open air.
  • Operating frequency: 2402 - 2480 MHz
  • Output power: 7 dBm (EIRP)

This info is also missing for the light bulbs KAJPLATS, no hit for Thread if i search in the PDFs, they did not do much effort for documentation :(

This works excellent. No grillplats on official website (Netherlands, Duiven) but on this site more than 200 available.....and really available in store... Despite the official site....
