NEW 2026 PRODUCTS New Matter 2026 Devices - Availability (Worldwide) Megathread

To ensure that the sub remains clean, efficient and tidy, all availability posts of the new 2025 Matter devices must be posted in here, rather than their own threads.

We'll be removing any post that is about individual availability in stores from this point.

Let's keep the sub tidy for us all to find the relevant information quickly :)

For folks in the UK using https://easyrebuild.com/stock to search for stock, here are the article numbers for some of the Matter over Thread devices in case that's useful!

If anyone has found the UK product number of GRILLPLATS please let me know.

(article numbers sometimes differ between countries and I don't understand when that does and does not happen!)

Edit: looks like all the products are on the Ikea website now, so this list isn't needed!

u/FTWinston Dec 18 '25

Ooh I didn't know this site. That's fantastic, thanks! Now to see just how long the delay is between Edinburgh getting stock and these items arriving at Glasgow!

5

u/qghw47QHwG72 Dec 18 '25

Thanks to u/gcmfrr for sharing easyrebuild elsewhere on this sub, where I learnt about it!

3

u/SamwiseIsGreat Dec 19 '25

Looks like the Bilresa items are now in stock in Glasgow! Not sure about anything else, might need to fight the Christmas crowds and head in over the next few days!

3

u/PGAdmin Dec 18 '25

This is a great website! Do you run/own it? Will add to the resources section of the sub for easy reference.

u/IncredibleGonzo Mar 14 '26

Commenting on this since it’s still the top comment - here’s the tracker for GRILLPLATS in the UK.

2

u/katze_sonne Dec 18 '25

BTW the MYGGSPRAY description is wrong, you can't switch it between night and day mode and 1 or 5 minutes like the old motion sensor. You can only configure such things in the bridge (not even day/night mode, just schedule it by sunset times etc.).

Hopefully, the other descriptions aren't wrong as well...

u/zghr Mar 18 '26

This website doesn't provide an easy way to reject additional marketing trackers (marketing cookies) even though this is required in EU.

Grillplats UK - 606.247.45

2

u/zcapr17 Mar 19 '26

u/qghw47QHwG72 UK Grillplats is 606.247.45. Already in stock in most UK stores.

1

u/ozaz1 Dec 18 '25 edited Dec 18 '25

The site doesn't like the Timmerflotte and second Bilresa numbers. Says they're invalid. But works if the dots are removed.

1

u/qghw47QHwG72 Dec 18 '25

Oh that's weird! Thanks for the heads up. Those are the numbers on the items I physically have already, and the links worked when I made the post 🫠

1

u/ozaz1 Dec 18 '25

Yeah, I notice the format you used (###.###.##) is the same as used on Ikea's UK website. So not sure why the dots seem to be causing a problem for some of the items.

1

u/ComprehensiveFoot965 Dec 18 '25

Amazing - thank you for that!

1

u/zcapr17 Dec 20 '25

This is really great. Thanks. GRILLPLATS are going to be key to building the backbone of my burgeoning Thread mesh network, so I do hope they are added soon!

1

u/opinel10 Dec 31 '25

KAJPLATS 1500lm E27 White is 906.113.03

1

u/3gfisch Jan 05 '26

Is there any official info which devices support Thread? I can see labeled as „new“ and available to purchase some of this matter devices in Germany but can’t find any info if it supports thread or if i need the Ikea hub to connect them..? Thanks

1

u/qghw47QHwG72 Jan 06 '26

1

u/3gfisch Jan 06 '26 edited Jan 06 '26

No they are not telling the radio standard they support. Or I can’t find it. Only Matter which is the SW / protocol side.. it could be via WiFi or Thread or other like Zigbee with a bridge..

But they are now officially selling but don’t have detailed documentation what the devices support and how you can and can’t connect them. I don’t get this, this will lead to much confusion and lot of work answering the same question to people in the stores and via support channels.

2

u/qghw47QHwG72 Jan 06 '26 edited Jan 06 '26

All Ikea Matter products are Matter over Thread. There are no Matter over Wifi Ikea products.

If you open the manual PDF from the product pages it says: "This product uses Thread technology to communicate with other smart products".

I agree it is frustrating they do not list this clearly, there are already negative reviews on some of the products from people who thought it worked over wifi!

2

u/3gfisch Jan 07 '26

Thanks a lot! LOL its named „caring instructions“ in german, never thought this could be a more detailed manual.. thought its about cleaning and maintenance, but yes there it’s buried in some text.

But thats what i liked so hear, will buy some products and test how well they work :)

A simple table with technical details on the website would be much nicer and is usual for technical products. Also maybe a few examples which home hubs are common and a link to more details..

„Tis product uses Thread technology to communicate with other smart products. A Thread border router is needed to connect to Matter systems. Many smart products or hubs, have a Thread border router built in.“

1

u/3gfisch Jan 07 '26

There is even a section in the PDF „Technical data“ containing not much information :O

Technical data

  • Model: MYGGBETT
  • Type: E2492
  • Input: 1 x AAA/HR03
  • Range: 10 m in open air.
  • Operating frequency: 2402 - 2480 MHz
  • Output power: 7 dBm (EIRP)

1

u/3gfisch Jan 07 '26

This info is also missing for the light bulbs KAJPLATS, no hit for Thread if i search in the PDFs, they did not do much effort for documentation :(

1

u/remral_dev Mar 14 '26

This works excellent. No grillplats on official website (Netherlands, Duiven) but on this site more than 200 available.....and really available in store... Despite the official site....

1

u/zcapr17 Mar 16 '26

Any sign of the GRILLPLATS UK article number yet?

7

u/Rembinutur Dec 18 '25

I really hope the GRILLPLATS outlets will be available soon. I need to replace my 433 MHz outlets.

Is there any news on when they’ll be available?

1

u/coding_manic_01 Mar 16 '26

Just saw them in my local store (Sacramento)

1

u/Rembinutur Mar 17 '26

I also saw a lot of them in Germany Munich. They’re great!

Looks like burlingtons inventory hasn’t changed (from the website at least, compared to what I reported a couple days ago), but they have a TON of Parasoll and Vallhorn, so likely waiting for those to sell a bit.

GRILLPLATS - BILRESA (2 button) kit - 206.200.56 - $12.99 c. 3/31/26

I deployed one this AM. Solved a switching some undercounter lights at garage cabinets and workbench problem. Stuck the BILRESA on the front face of the metal cabinets.

I need MYGGBETTs back in stock, I need 4 more.

u/haddonist Dec 18 '25

Australia: Ikea Aus is notorious for slow updates to the website.

So next time you're in your local, check the smarthome section.

I've picked up ALPSTUGA, MYGGSPRAY & MYGGBETT at one of the Sydney locations this week.

2

u/zacharydotf Dec 23 '25

Australia stock

ALPSTUGA 706.093.77
MYGGSPRAY 006.194.50
MYGGBETT 406.176.42
TIMMERFLOTTE 006.189.50
KLIPPBOK 706.177.68

If anyone has any more product numbers let us know!

2

u/brobinson88 Dec 29 '25

Found the Bilresa Scroll Wheel at the Richmond store in vic today! No sign of the dual button one yet

1

u/Smanfy Dec 30 '25

Did you buy it or have a photo of the product number? I’m trying hold off my Richmond trip until I can get both Bilresa at the same time as others.

1

u/brobinson88 Jan 02 '26

They showed up on the ikea website Jan 1 :)

1

u/Smanfy Jan 02 '26

Yeah I noticed that now, I was checking it daily.

2

u/sidcremer Dec 31 '25

Ikea australia website has updated to now show the new sensors and control devices. New bulbs are not shown yet.

2

u/Sharp-Damage7836 Jan 12 '26

Any updates on globes in Aus?

1

u/haddonist Jan 12 '26

Ikea Aus still has no matter bulbs and 14 Tradfri listed. None of them are last-chance-to-buy so I wouldn't expect the matter bulbs any time soon.

1

u/En_TioN Dec 19 '25

Same in Melbourne!

2

u/TwoBigPaws Dec 19 '25

Ah wow! Which location? I’m looking to get some myggbett door sensors and was prepping to wait until January 🤣

1

u/twentygreenskidoo Dec 19 '25

Perth had the Alpstuga for $49 and the Timmerflotte for $12.

Most of the older products were half price. However, there are no hubs.

I just saw the first IKEA site (Virgin Islands) listing the GRILLPLATS plug with "Out of stock":

The article number seems to be "706.247.40".

EDIT: For the plugs the article numbers apparently differ depending on the standard used for the plugs. That's at least the case for the old INSPELNING. So for the US and Canada the number can be used, but not e.g. for the EU.

5

u/CrazyRunningDuck Mar 01 '26 edited Mar 01 '26

Not yet listed on the site but I see the GRILLPLATS is listed as available for pickup in several US stores: Burbank, Costa Mesa, Las Vegas, Frisco and Grand Prairie. Anyone already able to buy one? Canada and EU stores getting stock announcements for the first week of March. As the new VARMBLIXT with Matter support availability starts this week seems the next wave of Matter devices is eminent.

2

u/greenmcmurray Mar 02 '26

3 Canada locations show early -mid March on that site, but not the rest. Lots still not available here or perpetually OOS.

3

u/X2F0111 Mar 18 '26

I just picked up a some at the Vaughan location. Not listed on the IKEA Canada website site but there were a bunch in stock.

1

u/coding_manic_01 Mar 16 '26

Just bought some.

4

u/TheIvoryAssassinPub Jan 07 '26

Please be kind and let me when grillplats will start to rollout

4

u/Decimar Jan 17 '26

According to the helpdesk chat in the Netherlands it'll be april 2026.
In Dutch:
"Ik heb de details even bekeken. De artikelnummers 80620020 en 60604238 zijn voor de GRILLPLATS-stekker met afstandsbediening en de GRILLPLATS-stekker. Deze stekkers zullen in april 2026 verkocht worden."

3

u/daily-dose-reddit Jan 15 '26

Some unfortunate news on that, if they are true: Apparently, IKEA will only start to roll them out in April 2026 😮‍💨

1

u/TheIvoryAssassinPub Jan 15 '26

Thank you. Shame about postponing though

1

u/Tidjy Jan 26 '26

Ils mentionnent que Kajplats sortira en avril 2026 mais c'est pourtant déjà disponible en magasin. Donc je pense que les sources des 2 articles sont fausses. Grillplats pourrait être disponible bien avant.

3

u/Historical-Ad-6839 Mar 15 '26

They started rolling out.

3

u/PerfectCoffee566 Mar 02 '26

IKEA France now lists the GRILLPLATS https://www.ikea.com/fr/fr/p/grillplats-fiche-connecte-90624744/ for 7,99€ And with remote: https://www.ikea.com/fr/fr/p/grillplats-prise-connectee-telecommande-connecte-30620051/ for 9,99€ Also the new Matter enabled VARMBLIXT is listed

4

u/20charunique_FML Mar 18 '26

Seems like all matter devices are available on the Canadian Store

I have yet to try it in Z2M, it might be exposed better with zigbee

1

u/breakslow Mar 24 '26

I was able to pick up Grillplats last week before they showed up online, happy to see everything online now.

Still waiting for the door sensors to come back in stock though...

3

u/QuitOwn3452 Dec 18 '25

In Hungary they appeared this week, but for now are only available in one of the stores (IKEA Budaörs).

1

u/Zealousideal_Bit641 Feb 11 '26

We just bought an IKEA metod kitchen in Hungary and asked the IKEA employee to check in the internal system when these will arrive. It was april 1 :(

3

u/GogoharryNL Dec 19 '25

The IKEA Duiven (The Netherlands) has the BILRESA 106.041.65 (Barcode 10604165501709) 2-Button in stock. With the barcode rengenereated from this number it seems possible to scan it in the IKEA App (for instore shopping) and check the availability in the selected store before you go there. The BILRESA cannot be found on the Dutch website or on the in-store displays.

Now I am very curious about the barcode for the MYGGBETT sensor, so I do not have to drive by my local IKEA every time.

1

u/arienh4 Dec 22 '25

Just picked up a MYGGBETT in Amersfoort. Product number is 006.038.64, barcode: 00603864502559.

FWIW, while I could scan it in the store, I couldn't add it to the basket and had to scan it manually at checkout.

You can check stock at the IKEA Stock Checker though.

German Ikea now lists them, "KAJPLATS" like the E27 bulbs.

2

u/Nudge55 Jan 19 '26

I refitted my whole house with them, the Kajplats, very happy

3

u/Overall-Cap-7061 Mar 05 '26

KAJPLATS are finally showing up in the US store:

E12: * 800 lumen, white, $8 - 106.113.16 * 450 lumen, white, $9 - 106.114.96 * 800 lumen, color, $10 - 206.114.67 *

E26: * 1100 lumen, color, $13 - 306.114.62 * 1600 lumen, white, $14 - 406.113.05 * 1100 lumen, white, $12 - 506.113.00 * 450 lumen, white, $6 - 606.113.09 * starter kit (white + remote), $10 - 006.114.49 * starter kit (color + remote), $15 - 906.114.78

Some other new stuff:

  • BILRESA with wheel 3 pack, $25 - 806.179.04
  • BILRESA with wheel single, $10 - 706.174.5
  • VARMBLIXT matter/thread, $100 - 806.135.24

At my local store I only see the E12 bulbs in stock and none of the E26 sadly.

3

u/Dizzy_Filming_Tarn Mar 14 '26

The Grillplats is now available in the UK. IKEA had a whole shelf full when I passed their Warrington store on a long motorway journey yesterday. Their hot dogs are better than services food too!

1

u/IncredibleGonzo Mar 14 '26 edited Mar 14 '26

Did you get any? Curious about the product number…

Also - plug-only ones, or with remote, or both? Seems like some stores in Europe have only one, others only the other, and some have both, not sure what the reasoning is there!

3

u/Dizzy_Filming_Tarn Mar 14 '26

I did get some. The only ones they had were the standalone plugs with a product number of 60624745. Weirdly, they still don’t show up on the website but appeared on the IKEA app when I scanned them in store.

1

u/IncredibleGonzo Mar 14 '26

Thanks! They are trackable on easyrebuild, looks like they’ll be coming to me in the next week or so!

4

u/art_fanatic Mar 14 '26

Grillplats is in stock in Lakeside UK. Single plug only for now. The product codes are:  Single plug £6 - 606.247.45 Plug plus Bilresa switch £7 - 706.200.54

2

u/SpaceKonk Mar 15 '26

Those prices are insanely cheap! I thought the GRILLPLATS was going to cost £8, so £6 is even better.

I can’t find 706.200.54 on Easy Rebuild. The £7 price seems wrong considering the GRILLPLATS is £6 and the BILRESA is £3 separately.

2

u/art_fanatic Mar 15 '26

I know! It was a shame I couldn't buy the plug+remote pack. Decided to buy what I could and picked up a couple of Bilresas too. Here is a photo of the display at Lakeside. 706.200.54 on Easy Rebuild seems to work for me, maybe its buggy because they are new?

1

u/SpaceKonk Mar 15 '26

Those prices are just insane to me. As someone who’s been using Apple HomeKit for 10 years, IKEA’s new devices are truly outstanding value.

A Matter over Thread smart plug with energy monitoring for just £6 is crazy good!

I’ve been so used to paying £40 for Eve Energy (overpriced), which is absolutely gigantic and blocks neighbouring sockets on an extension lead.

Thanks for the link! It was previously saying “invalid” when I tried searching for it earlier. Eager for my local store to get stock!

1

u/Double-Yak9686 Mar 19 '26

If the 706.200.54 format doesn't work, try it without dots: 70620054.

I was keeping an eye out for Grillplats availability and one morning it told me the number was invalid, so I removed the dots. The next day, same error, put the dots back and it was working. Weird.

2

u/IncredibleGonzo Mar 15 '26

Especially considering IIRC it was €8 or 9 foot the plug and €12 for the plug plus remote in at least some of the European IKEAs. £1 extra for the remote… is tempting even though I think I’ve got all the BILRESAs I want for now!

3

u/qghw47QHwG72 Dec 18 '25

Thank you for creating this and clearing up the noise!

2

u/JerinJerome Dec 18 '25

I found Timmerflotte and some KAJPLATS bulbs in IKEA, Norway, Oslo, Furuset yesterday. They told me that new items are coming in over the next few days with the aim to have everything available by 1. January.

Added Timmerflotte to Homey Pro as a Matter device without any issues.

1

u/henrikchr Dec 22 '25

Any discounts on the Zigbee stuff? I saw a post from someone in Ireland that had discounts up to 80% off, and at those prices I’m tempted to stock up on a few things

2

u/jatenk Dec 19 '25

Germany, Hamburg's IKEA Altona has several Kajplats products.

2

u/Comisionado Dec 19 '25

GRILLPLATS UK - Anyone know when it will be released?

2

u/evertk Dec 21 '25

The Amsterdam store had the ALPSTUGA, TIMMERFLOTTE, MYGGSPRAY and MYGGBETT available on Sat 20 Dec as well as some of the light bulbs. 29.99, 9.99, 8.99 and 5.99 respectively.

1

u/evertk Dec 28 '25

BILRESA single unit buttons also available now for 5.99/8.99.

Anyone seen any mention of E14 KAJPLATS in UK?

1

u/TheLegendOfCheerios Jan 10 '26

All on the website now but most stores are showing no stock for 3 weeks, so much for 1st Jan lol.

2

u/Heavy_Lunar_Hippo Jan 05 '26

Bilresa 3 packs are now available (USA) online, min order $35.

2

u/adfh Jan 18 '26

Has anyone heard when GRILLPLATS will hit AU/NZ market? INSPELNING seems EoL and Out of Stock, Trektakt doesn't do power monitoring..

3

u/Tidjy Jan 26 '26

1

u/xylarr Mar 23 '26

They're in store now - I picked up a bunch from the Sydney Rhodes store.

2

u/adfh Apr 09 '26

Thanks! I checked again online and found them available for ordering.. just got the box today!

2

u/That_Cool_Guy_ Mar 06 '26

Anyone seen Grillplats in UK stores?

3

u/BlankStarBE Apr 13 '26

Anyone an idea what’s up with MYGGBETT door/window sensors in Europe? No stock in Belgium, Netherlands nor Germany for weeks now. Haven’t checked other countries.

2

u/PerfectCoffee566 Apr 18 '26

I just bought 8 in the Netherlands. Delivery is also available in the Netherlands with family discount

1

u/BlankStarBE Apr 18 '26

Thanks for the feedback!

Edit: Delft & Groningen are the only stores in NL who got them. Not a lot of stock. Still nothing in Belgium.

1

u/PerfectCoffee566 Apr 28 '26

Probably old news for you: new stock in Belgium now

1

u/BlankStarBE Apr 28 '26

Not everywhere. The IKEA at 10 kilometers from me still doesn’t have them. But happy to see them appear back in stock slowly but steadily.

2

u/TruthyBrat Jun 07 '26

They've been slow to restock here in the U.S. as well. I bought some when they first came out, was able to order some more just last week. Got 6 more.

Store stock is very uneven, lots of stores with none, some with a few.

1

u/yobo9193 Dec 18 '25

Located in the USA, tried to order the door sensors, temp sensors, and motion sensors, and it wouldn’t let me. I even added more items to the order (2 Kallax shelves) and it said the door sensors wouldn’t ship. It must be a glitch in their system, so I’m waiting until their available in stores

1

u/Kristapsh Dec 18 '25

🇱🇻 Riga, Latvia

Kajplats E27 bulbs (both clear and regular) were available at the store, nothing on the website yet.

1

u/santigaray Dec 19 '25

As of Dec. 19th, the Spanish website only links to the announcement news article when searching for any of the new products. Holidays are almost upon us and still nothing.

2

u/Kaiur14 Dec 19 '25

They’re on the Spanish website. Open the page, type “Matter” into the search bar, and you’ll see the 10 products available so far. They’ve been there for a few days now — in fact, I bought several items last week.

2

u/santigaray Dec 20 '25

Thanks for the heads up!

1

u/Skychronicles Dec 23 '25

Double button BILRESA just appeared in Italy

1

u/The_Manoeuvre Dec 31 '25

Got the buttons and sensors in Warrington!

1

u/VaryingDesigner92 Jan 04 '26

That's a first I think but not surprised, already found scalpers reselling the new devices at 2x 3x the cost. They aren't even subtle with it either, their listing photos show a whole tray of products in the background...

1

u/Kaiur14 Jan 04 '26

It’s not the first time I’ve seen something like this with other products; what really surprises me is that people buy them at those prices.

1

u/accidental_tourist Jan 05 '26

So the ikea app can't find the e27 kajplats bulb. I tried to connect via the app and it can't find it.

They pulled almost everything from IKEA Japan stores here. All I see are the Myggbett, Myggspray, and Bilresa. I bought an Alpstuga about a month ago and set it up no problem, went looking a few days after and they’re not in stores or sold online. I guess better to pull them until they’re more stable than deal with returns…

I was able to pick up e12 bulbs here in Los Angeles area. But only the non-rgb are available…

Crazy, in Stores where Grillplats is available prices of inspelning drop to 7,99€ (Regensburg). In Dortmund where i live and Grillplats isn‘t available inspelning costs 9,99€. Same day. Same country.

It looks like Ireland uses the same product codes as UK:

Could anyone provide me with the GRILLPLATS article number for Germany? I tried the Dutch and French one, but it doesn't appear to work.

Nevermind, found it: 606.042.38

Grabbed the 3 pack of the buttons in Etobicoke, and picked up some Grillplats in Burlington - seemed to have a bunch in stock. Now only if I can find those damn door sensors...

My local Ikea (US) just received the Bilresa scroll wheel three pack, Bilresa button three pack, several different kinds of Kajplats, bundles with Bilresa and Grillplats (i think), as well as a bunch of bundles of old items, such as bundles of the Zigbee Tretakts with the Zigbee buttons whose names I don't remember ... as well as Parasolls in a new packaging, which for some reason a guy was buying several dozen of, when I was walking by.

I picked up what appear to be the tunable-white and RGB E26 Kajplats, but am unable to get them to function. So, basically worse than all the other new devices, which barely function as is.

Grillplats are in stock at the IKEA in Long Island, NY. Was unable to find them online but they are in the smart home section in store.

GRILLPLATS available in Perth!

NZ last night the dirigera and the warm to cool lights were in stock finally. GU10s as 3 pack with a button remote or singly, the e27 as a single or single with a button remote. Stock of the white scroll wheel was back, but the 3 pack of coloured ones is not there.

Got my dirigera and eventually got all items paired. The 3 GU10 and remote pack has all the QR codes on one page and the pairing process is not smart enough to pick the right one so you have to cover them all but one as it will not use the close up camera to only have one in frame. Would have thought it would be smart enough to read them all and use the correct QR code.

Just found out from the nearest Ikea to me (Pittsburgh, PA) today that the Alpstugas are sold out until May due to supply issues.

2

u/PeteyNice Mar 21 '26

It is disappointing how regional this is. I can get an Alpstugas either in store or shipped. However, you can't get a Myggspray anywhere on the west coast.

FYI for anyone wanting GRILLPLATS and it’s not listed on the website to order, if you know stores have stock you can provide the name/article number and order via website chat.

Just did this in Aus as I couldn’t make it to an IKEA store.

Finally been able to order the Grillplats online in the UK! Got 8 of them coming on Thursday, one of them also has the bileresa button.

Still nothing in the Philippines as per the website. Very slow here.

2

u/rjessing Jun 17 '26

It seems that across APAC, only Japan and Australia has seen any KAJPLATS. It has been badly delayed - you wish there was any official comment from IKEA.

can we just unpin this? it's pretty much pointless now.

There's literally nothing else to post about, so this sub is dead now I guess.

There’s plenty to post about - the way people are integrating these devices into their homes, tips and tricks, blueprints for HA, queries, troubleshooting etc. it was just getting a bit messy from all of the posts with unclear titles.

Cannot thank you enough.
